The Slave Auction Meme

❧ Leave a comment with the character's name, fandom, and whether your character will be playing the part of 'slave' or 'master', plus preferences for scenarios if you have any or set up the scene yourself in the comment.
❧ Respond to others with one of the scenarios below or feel free to make up your own.
❧ Please remember to be respectful of others while you play
Warning: Be aware that this meme deals with dark subjects like slavery and may also contain non-consensual/dubiously consensual sex, violence, and kink.
SLAVES
1. The Newbie - This is your very first auction and you don't quite know what to expect. Hopefully you remember your training and don't disgrace yourself in front of your new master. Hopefully someone thinks you're worth buying at all.
2. The Oldtimer - You've been bought and sold and bought again so many times. You've seen it all before and don't think this time is going to be much different. In fact, the only real anxiety you've got is whether or not someone's going to pay for a more than slightly used slave.
3. The Pet - You're a pleasure slave. A bed warmer. A decorative piece of artwork. You're meant to look pretty and be pleasing and not much else.
4. The Guard - Your master hired you because of your ability to swing a sword or shoot a gun, not your looks.
5. The Escape Artist - Somehow you always manage to squirm out of your master's chains. Too bad you seem to get caught after a while. Maybe your next daring escape will be permanent. Then again, maybe your next master has special ways of keeping you locked up.
6. The Undercover - You aren't a slave at all, you're just pretending to be one. Why? Well that's up to you. Either way, your cover is blown if you don't act the part.
7. The Specialist - You have a skill that no one else has. Something rare and valuable. Something your master needs more than anything else.
MASTERS
1. The Customer - You've owned slaves before and this trip to the market is nothing new to you. Still, you're hoping to find something worth your while.
2. The Gift - Someone bought a pet for you, isn't that nice of them? Or maybe it isn't so nice. Did you even want a slave in the first place? Well you're stuck with one now.
3. The Giver - You're selecting a slave for someone else, and they need to be perfect. Perhaps you'd better test them out first to make sure you're getting your money's worth.
4. The Trainer - You specialize in taming unruly slaves and making them over into perfect, obedient, well-trained pets.
5. The Rebel - You hate the idea of slavery, but the system isn't going to go away any time soon, so the next best thing is to buy up any slave you can get your hands on and free them, right?
6. The Companion - You want someone to be with you always, someone you can talk to and depend on, someone who will never leave your side. It's a good thing that money can buy that these days.
7. The Undercover - You're not actually a Master. You're at the auction for an entirely different reason. Maybe it's special policework, maybe you're trying to hunt down a certain someone. Either way, your cover is blown unless you act the part.
As always, feel free to use a combination of scenarios or make up your own if you have other ideas.

Duo had had a couple of masters before, but after having things 'stolen,' reported, and then placed right in their front halls more than once, each had sold him again. He'd even staged his own theft once, walking right past them while his master had been ranting about crime rates to an officer. Embarrassed the man a bit. Which was probably why the sellers had advised his newest buyer to keep him better locked up where he couldn't cause mischief. The warning had been waved away and he'd been led out of the auction house. But not brought to the buyer's house, not from the way he requested entrance instead of just walking in. So what was going on?

Soubi was the one that opened the door for Duo, and just looked him over as he walked in. Short kid, long braided hair, looked strong. Maybe he could use the kid to ... build a table? seemed like a stupid idea, but what else was a slave for anyway? Soubi had no clue.
"you're Duo? What are you good for?"
(OOC, sorry for the wait!)

"Yep, that's me. And I guess that's up to you."

"What did your..." Soubi rubs his head. What was it he was thinking of... "Your specification sheet say? Or, what did you do before?" That may help it at lest. The kid just looked like another brat to him.

"Let your hair down. I want to see it."

Soubi walked around Duo and ran his fingers gingery through the strands of the other's hair. The strands were rather corse compared to Soubi's, and he didn't like that. It needed a good brushing. "follow me, brother your clothing with you." he said, heading towards his bedroom. Not that Duo would know that as they walked. It was just down a hallway from the room they were in. When they entered, Soubi nodded to a chair near a desk that had a ton of sketches of different things on it. Mostly butterflies. "Sit there." Soubi went into the bathroom to fetch his hair brush.

Well as a slave he hadn't really been given the best of tools to take care of his hair. Duo grabbed his clothes and followed Soubi, looking around to memorize the layout of the house. Of course, he recognized a bedroom as soon as they walked in. Still, he didn't argue the order as he sat down and dumped his clothes at his feet. Sitting on a chair wasn't being told to lay on the bed and spread his legs (been there, done that), and the butterfly sketches caught his attention while he waited.

"Pick those up and fold them, but don't get up. Just hold them in your lap." Really? Did he have to tell this slave everything to do? Soubi walked behind Duo with a sigh and started to carefully brush through the strands of his hair. Soubi was very gentle, never tugging or pulling when the brush became stuck. Soubi gently touched Duo's back every once in a while as he worked, finger tips gliding over his skin as he picked up the strands of hair. "Perhaps a shower would help..."

Like Duo cared about the stuff he'd been tossed last time his master had sold him. They weren't even in that great of condition. But he still followed the order, rolling his eyes once his new master was behind him and couldn't see.
"Can't say I'd mind a good wash," Duo said, relaxing into the brushing. How long had it been since someone else had done that for him? Too long. The slave hummed softly in pleasure.

Hey, Duo sure wasn't going to complain about a little pampering. "Don't know the number, but I could probably wear your stuff. It'd be big on me though," he said, running his fingers through his hair. Oh, that felt so much better. Honestly, Duo was a very small man, barely more than five feet tall and then skinny on top of it.
sorry for the wait!
Soubi clearly had no idea if he could cook or not. Plus, he didn't really care if Duo could cook. Soubi didn't want to eat anything but his own cook. "Just wear one of my shirts for now."
No worries!
<3
As Duo washed, Soubi left the room and went to the kitchen to cook. He was a wonderful cook, and made a chicken stir fry that would make any chef proud. Soon the smells were drifting throughout the small house.
^_^
"Smells good," he commented, following the scent to peek into the kitchen. He stayed out for the moment since he wasn't dressed yet.
