Maybe he's still asleep, and still dreaming, and it's not really morning, because uh...what else could this be. Yeah, he's got nothing, he's just going to stare right now. At least he's mostly calm and not freaking out?]

_{[Don't mind him, Reid. Balfour's still sleepy, warm and comfortable under the blankets and next to that familiar body. Oh, yes, perfection. He hums another question and presses a kiss to what bare skin he's found, yawns again, and continues to doze.]}

Balfour. [Nudge, nudge. Oh god wake up. He's essentially watching himself sleep right now-or at least be mostly asleep and it's very unnerving. It's going to be even worse in a few minutes.]

We've got a problem here.

Reid. _{[He matches that whine, only noticing that their voices sound off. He doesn't care. He presses more kisses to that skin, trailing up the neck.

He didn't want to wake up.]}

[He groans a little and squirms, jabbing Balfour in the ribs.]

As nice as that is, we have a problem here. Just open your eyes, at least.

_{[Only enough to see the skin in front of him, and oh, look, a tendon. Tendon, meet teeth. Balfour is very lovey in the mornings.]}

[Stop that. It's very distracting, it feels nice, and if he wasn't freaking out so much right now he'd just decide fuck it and forget about it. And, well, fuck something else instead. Because on one hand he's kind of mesmerized, but on the other, yeah, freaking out.]

[He's gotta figure out something to do here, because he's starting to realize he has no Power either. The energy running through his veins isn't there, that nice, familiar feeling of Power.]

So when'd you get your ear pierced then if we don't have a problem? [He reaches over to finger what is, technically, his earring. It's in his ear, on his head, but...that's not the body he's in right now. And he doesn't understand why.]

_{[Balfour moans when the earring is tweaked. It felt good.

But then it hits him: when did he get his ear pierced? He didn't. Which means...

He opens his eyes a little more, looking up at Reid's face to find that he was looking at his own instead. He blinks, then reaches up, a hand going to those lips, seeing if it were a mirror.]}

What the hell?

There we go. [Yup, things just got even weirder.] I was going to bite you if you didn't start paying attention soon. [No he wasn't. Maybe.]

I have no idea. I just woke up and...this. [At least he has someone to panic with now.]

_{[Balfour blinks a little, sitting up and looking at the body Reid is now wearing before looking down at himself, fingers coming up to touch the earring, moving it a bit, tugging it--oh, best not to do that in a serious situation--then went up into his hair.

Much shorter than normal. He plucks a few, looking at them--blonde. Tattoo on his finger.]}

Huh. That's weird.

_{[Sorry, Reid, but he's not panicking yet. He's still too tired and horny to think straight.]}

_{[He yawns and flops back over, a leg going over Reid's hips, snuggling close.]}

The fuck should I know? [He huffs a sigh, draping his arms around Balfour.]

Maybe it's my fault somehow. I mean, I'm the one with magic and all.

_{[Balfour, by this time, is back to kissing at Reid's neck, snuggling close, his hand sliding down along his back, then up under his shirt, feeling the skin with bare fingers, checking, checking...

And there. There was the deep, wrinkled, jagged, purple scar. He slid his fingers across the width, fully aware that part of that touch would go unnoticed, then up along the margins where it was a strange sensation, but at least he could feel it.

Now Reid had to live with that ugly, shameful thing. He frowned, tensing, rather upset with that turn of events.]}

[No, no, no, he was not going to have to live with this. Because they were going to find a way to fix things.

He squirms a little when Balfour touched his back-it just...feels weird. He can't say weird how, just that it is. He's not going to question it though.]

We're gonna fix this.

_{[He sounds stressed out, now, now that Reid had squirmed and reacted to that touch along that scar Balfour hated so much.

He presses his face tighter into Reid's chest and pulls his hand away, letting it rest on his lower back instead of on the scar.]}
