[He blinks, finally looking up at that kiss. Too little, not enough, but that's alright, he figures he can get better kisses later.]
Right, the book.
[Sounding like a smart-ass? Kind of hot. And much more fitting considering that Balfour's in Reid's body. He'll make up for interrupting Balfour's experimenting later, he honestly will. But right now they're on a mission.
He grabs his keys, starting for the door now before any more distracting and teasing can happen. Otherwise he might just change his mind, say fuck it, and spend a few hours in bed again with Balfour.]

[Here, have another smirk. And when he sits down in the car and buckles up, his hand is going straight to Reid's thigh, just a little bit too high, but not touching anything important. He rubs his fingers against the inner part gently.]
Is something on your mind?
[And back to the puppy look. He's using it a bit.]
no subject
Like you don't know. With your innocent face.
no subject
Do you have any idea how much I want you right now?
[But he moves his hand down Reid's thigh. Safety first.]
no subject
[He laughs a little, glancing over but keeping most of his attention on driving now.]
Probably about as much as I want you.
no subject
[He turns his head to look out the window, watching the countryside fly by.]
no subject
[He grins.]
Shit, we could even have sex in the car.
no subject
[And he's completely serious. That sounds very uncomfortable and cramped. The only way he could see it even being possible is if one of them was in the other's lap.
Okay, he could get on board with that, at least.]
no subject
It is if there's not enough room and you don't do it right.
[Reid would make sure they did it right though, if they did it at all.]
Otherwise, it's a lot of fun.
no subject
[Balfour has never been against any experimentation. He sort of winces, though, at the thought of how troublesome some parts might be.
Oops, there goes that hand up Reid's thigh again.]
no subject
[You know he really doesn't mind that hand. Except he's trying to concentrate on driving. He's not going to say a word though, just clears his throat a little. At least they're almost there?]
no subject
He was done teasing, for now.]

Luckily, it's not too much longer before they're there, paved road leading to a not so paved road through the trees before there was a fence and a large open field with a single lonely, old house. Old. It's been there for a while, and it looks it. Reid parks the car, but doesn't get out yet.]
Well, this is it. Doesn't look like much from the outside, I know.
no subject
It's a little intimidating, you know? We should go, though. Before he gets nervous.
[He grips at Reid's hand for a moment, then gets out of the car, closing the door quietly. He even keeps his head down. It is rather clear at a glance that this is not Reid.]
no subject
[No, no he wasn't, but this was Reid and Reid always made comments like that. Especially now when Gorman couldn't hear him.
He got out of the car now though, closing the door behind him before holding his hand out to Balfour. They'd make their way up to the house together. When they got to the front door he didn't even bother to knock, he just opened the door and peeked in.]
Gorman?
[When he got no answer, he shrugged and tugged Balfour inside with him.] Maybe he's sleeping. He is old, after all.
no subject
[Balfour looks around, even more nervous as they begin to approach the house and go inside.]
Do you want to get shot?
no subject
[He looked one way and then the other once they were inside. When there was no sight of Gorman, Reid quickly led them towards the door to the basement. Though it was more of coven meeting place than an actual basement. Old stone and older books. There were candles scattered everywhere-candles that he couldn't Use to light because he didn't have his own Power or body right now. So he made due, squinting in the gloom while he went over to one of the bookshelves, pulling down the thick Book of Damnation.]
no subject
[He looks around for a moment, fingers brushing the walls every five steps, then running his hands over some of the books on the shelves. So old, and yet, so lovely. He could almost feel the life running through them.
When Reid pulled down the Book of Damnation, it took almost no time for him to go over to it, drawing it to his body.]
Oh....
no subject
Don't tear any pages in that thing or else Caleb'll kill us, alright?
[Well, maybe killing them would be a bit extreme, but.
He went over to the shelf where the box of matches was and started lighting candles, so that they wouldn't have to squint through the dark forever and ruin their eyes or something.]
no subject
[Reid, have a Very Offended Look. Balfour would not dare tear a page in such an old book. In fact, he's holding it very lovingly until he can sit down and spread the covers across his legs. And then, gently, he turns a page. Tear pages. Huff! Who did Reid think he was? He had books older than Reid! Older than himself! Huff!
Very. Offended. Look. Have it. Enjoy it.
Huff!!]
no subject
I'm just being careful, Balfour.
no subject
[But this is said softly and reassuringly, not huffy at all. And he's so careful as he turns the page.]
I love old books. They have a lot of character.
no subject
[He came over to stand next to Balfour so that he could see the pages too.] It's got everything; the history of the coven.
no subject
[He looks up at Reid and then nods to the spot next to him. He should be able to see from sitting there, and Balfour wanted to lean against him as he took this book in, reading the words that were presented to him.]
