[ Her lips thin while he boasts about his wisdom, sending him an unimpressed look when he defines it as "divine." She does not interrupt him or take back her compliments. He has dispensed free, useful advice, and the queen acknowledges that worth as much of his conduct could improve.

Confidence isn't bad, a monarch should be confident, but from her perspective, he has yet to take the reins of his life. It is his hurdle to overcome. ]

Tristan? I have not seen her in this place. [ She will not object if he wishes to meet her, but she has not caught a single glimpse of the younger fairy in these liminal corridors. She has met a variant of her counterpart's offspring. Not just the Mordred from Proper Human History, but also another one. ]

Kimonos? [ Pale brows arching up as the unknown word rolls off her tongue. ] Is that a type of ornament?

Oh, no! They're traditional robes that people wear in my world. Sometimes, people put 'em on for celebrations or just everyday wear. I'm technically wearing one right now, but it's custom made to match his shogun-ness!

[He says as he proudly puffs out his chest, then holds his arms out to show off more of his outfit. He lets the white sleeves droop out, then dramatically does a swipe of his big cape. Most kimonos are much more simplistic and down-to-earth compared to the wild extravagant get-up that Yeyasu was wearing.]

But if you're looking for good luck ornaments, then I've got just the thing. Hinomoto has these little talimens that we like to call omamori. I've made sure to carry a few of them for people who need a pick-me-up or two. Helps for promoting my Netherworld for tourists that wanna drop by.

[That's whenever he reaches into his pocket, then takes out an omamori to hold out to Morgan. But this one has a cartoon-y version of his face winking on the logo. The jury is out on if this was in good taste or not.]

[ Oh? His clothing style? It looks comfortable, but she does not think it would suit the queen of winter. Furthermore, those long sleeves might get in the way of a spellchanting or spear-wielding battle. She rarely takes the battlefield yet it is still an observation.

Even so, he offers a gift. That is rare in itself. She cannot turn it down. ]

I see. Princess Tristan will like your offering. [ Maybe her daughter can figure out how to wear this. Morgan scrutinizes his outfit and sees no buttons or zips. ] She collects plenty of clothing items and shoes.  [ Her heir is a self-proclaimed fashionista, in touch with all the current trends of the fairy kingdom.

She reaches out to take the omamori to inspect it and sense if it is imbued with any trace of magical energy. The winking face is quite absurd, although it somewhat fits his personality. She knows that human rulers engrave their faces and those of their predecessors on their currency. Isn't this a similar display?

She has nothing to offer in return. Muryan perhaps has samples of "souvenirs" in her domain, but the queen does not step out of her throne or Camelot. She could forge something for him or create a mystic code to settle the debt. In time, she will ponder what could suit him. For now, she lowers the talisman and says. ]

For real? I think we can get along on that! ♥ I've got a buddy who's the CEO of her own fashion company too. I can pass her along a business card if she's ever interested in some clothes from the Wahei Netherworld.

[He was always happy to make more friends and help them out when it comes to their businesses! His Netherworld was rebounding from a war, so it was up to him to make sure that the economy bounced back from a current recession. So far, things were looking upward with him opening up the borders for tourism.]

I like to research about fashion trends and cultures from different civilizations in books. Though reading is different from experiencing for sure. Helps with getting some new ideas to expand my home land!

[Unlike the previous shogun who preferred to keep Hinomoto away from outside influences, Yeyasu was an opposite thinker. He wanted to bring in fresh new ideas to make sure that Hinomoto evolved while still staying true to their traditional roots. There were some who pushed against his way of thinking, but most of the citizens were on his side. Others who did not support Yeyasu were remaining followers of the previous tyrant who took control of his Netherworld Cluster before his defeat.

Morgan won't be sensing any magical energy from the omamori as it's simply a normal amulet that she can hold for herself. There was no ulterior motive to be found here. It was the feelings that was in the item that were important!]

Oh, sweeeet! ♪ [The excitement in his voice hits a certain musical pitch.] I humbly accept your invitation! I don't get a chance to step outta Hinomoto, so seeing how another kingdom runs things sounds like my kind of jam!

[ What is a CEO? Morgan looks cross at the many unknown words he keeps bringing up. It must be the owner of that association, she silently muses while Yeyasu continues his never-ending ramblings. ]

I do not mind if this friend of yours presents her products to my heir. Perhaps we can arrange a personal tailor and their catalog.

[ Sending out Tristan into an unknown land with her poor grip on her sadism is a diplomatic incident waiting to explode. It is safer to bring someone into the castle, in a controlled environment where Morgan will restrain her daughter's habits. ]

Your style and ours are very different. Most of us wear clothes inspired by Proper Human History's European fashion.

[ Their buildings also mimic different periods that MOrgan has considered beautiful and fitting for their civilization. Without her tyrannical goal to write a history for the fae, most of her subjects wouldn't care at all for those constructions. It is very alien to extensions of nature to build civilization.

Morgan will always receive any goodwill gift. No matter if they look cheap, she will find it valuable. So she takes the talisman by their string and slides it on her left wrist. The "bracelet" looks easily out of place with her gown, but it would be a way to carry the omamori all the way home. ]

[ Floatsam aren't uncommon, but this is a different matter. Someone outside Proper Human History. Someone who is not a threat. She needs to make preparations for them to enjoy her kingdom (and survive it). ]
