I had Robinbot analyze a sample, and it doesn't appear to be rabid. But the squirrel was acting erratically, which does make me think something is wrong with it.
I know that it always feels weird for ME when I have to leave a job to someone else. But they are experts... I'm sure this dastardly, bitey squirrel will be captured before he harms others.
['Don't run your mouth, Chase; you know the Dickster doesn't have a Robinbot, he has a Robin kid. So this can't be the American Batman...' Danny reminds himself.]
You think it's some kind of plot? Would the goal be a mass panic, or are they trying to infect the pet of someone in particular..?
Trying to target a specific person's pet by means of a random wild squirrel seems a bit too haphazard. (Unless, of course, the squirrel was not patient zero.)
I don't know. I just want to rule out the worst possibilities.
Please, feel free to contact me if you need assistance outside of wound care information -- my partner and I are no strangers to the worst possibilities.

Should I worry about trying to catch it, stop it from spreading to other wildlife?

Unless your Robinbot has a rodent-catching program...

I'll leave Animal Control a tip as to the squirrel's last known whereabouts.
