[ So, some big named Goetia is throwing a party. Oz is there, sadly without Fizzarolli (thanks schedules), and starting to feel how harshed the vibe truly is. He knew these guys were stuck up, but this was another level. He needs some fresh air and an excuse to check his phone for the thousandth time to see if there's a text from his Froggy.

And when he steps outside that's when he sees the big man himself. This had to be Charlie's doing, convincing him to actually get out more. ]

Well, hey there, Big D!

[ That's D for Devil, obviously. But the innuendo is not lost on Lust himself, obviously.

He joins the smaller man leaning against the balcony, not yet looking where Lucifer was. ]

Look at you stepping out of the workshop.

[ Oh he knows that voice instantly, turning to look up to the taller sin and forcing up a smile. Ozzie would be dead on rights about the only thing that could drag him out to something like this. The whole thing is an exercise in his introverted nature, or at least the one born of what his life has become, so sneaking out here onto the balcony had been a saving grace.

Everyone wants to smooze with the ruler of hell, after all. ]

Asmodeus. [ The name spoken with some actual warmth and a small but real smile to match. It's been a fairly considerable length of time since he'd seen any of his fellow sins, and while he would question how much time he would ever want to spend in the presence of a few of them... Asmodeus and Beelzebub had always been the top of that welcomed list. ]

How's it going, big guy?? Been what, a few decades? You still, uh- running that club of yours?

[ Not much for keeping up with the news, either. ]

Oh at least! But what's a few decades between friends.

[ And he genuinely means that. Mostly he was worried about him. He knew all about how much of a recluse Lucifer had become. That level of it wasn't good for anybody.

He chuckles. ]

Yeah, still running the club and the factory. How's Charlie and her- hotel thing?

[ Bless the girl. She meant well. ]

[ When you're immortal, time certainly has a different meaning, but the fact Ozzie takes it so easily actually brings down the tension in Lucifer's shoulders slightly. ]

Incredible! [ Because of course he'd love to gush about her any chance he could. ] She's really doing something amazing with it. Some of her... guests are a bit on the- let's say odd side of things? But it's clear she's really managing to do- something!

[ Even if he's still not fully sure what that something is, but even he can't deny that there's a unique nature to that lot that he hasn't seen in sinners before. ]

[ He adored Lucifer. It was hard not to like him, king or not. He was a pretty goofy guy. Definitely in charge of pride, though. Probably his only real huge flaw, as far as Oz was concerned. ]

Pride has a way of attracting all the weird ones. And that's coming from the king of kink.

[ Did he know about Fizz? And should he tell him? What would he think to Lust riding the monogamy train. ]

Did you hear the news?

[ It had to be all over the place by now. ]

[ It wasn't as if being in charge of anything down here was his idea, Oz! Lilith had been ten times the ruler he ever could be- until she... left. ]

The sinners. [ Lucifer pulled a face at that, but he couldn't deny that Asmodeus was right. He shrugged a shoulder, his lips pressed thin together, before he briefly turned his gaze out to the sky above again. At least the lot at the hotel were... less terrible than those out in the greater population. They had banded together, tried to protect his baby girl, and for that much they had earned his respect.

...well except for that one...

At the question though, Lucifer looked back up to the other and puzzled for a moment, wondering what possible news Asmodeus could be talking about that would have made its way up to him, before realization kicked in. In fact, speaking of the others within the hotel, it had been the spider who had brought it up which led to an entire breakfast discussion of the fact. ]

You got yourself a little boyfriend! Last thing I expected to hear from down below, I'll admit. How in the hell did that all happen?? ...Right? That's what you meant? Please tell me that's what you meant.

[ In truth, he was happy to hear it! Expected? No, but if Asmodeus was happy, that was what counted. They weren't beings with only a single personality trait to be had, for all people seemed to believe that. Hell, in his opinion, Mammon was nearly twice as lazy as Bel could ever be - just managed to circumvent the title by being ever so slightly more of a greedy bastard instead. ]

[ His turn to look up at where Lucifer is and... it's honestly a great night. He wishes that Fizzy could be there so he could introduce him to Lucifer. Honestly, they'd get along so well that maybe it's a little bit of a bad idea.

He chuckles at Lucifer fumbling through it. ]

Yeah, that's what I meant.

[ How did it begin. Oh boy. ]

Well, Mammon made a deal with me to give exclusive performing rights at my club with Fizz. We got close and...

[ He just sort of shrugs. The rest is history, as the saying goes! ]

He's a great guy. Total goofball. And amazing in bed. [ He looks back up to the stars. ] I hadn't felt like that in a while. He makes me feel like a person.

[ Not just a Sin. Not just some big powerful idea. He's Ozzie. Not Admodeus, The Sin of Lust. ]

I also play Fizz so this just feels like fate. XD

[ They will absolutely get on like a house on fire. Heaven forbid someone provide the pair of them with sugar? Fizz just needs to get Lucifer over his awkwardness and it will be chaos.

And for all that his own love life is- not a topic for discussion or even thinking about recently, and his own dogpiled insecurities and depressions, it still lights up Lucifer's expression into a full blown smile to hear Asmodeus talk so happily about what's come into his life. ]

Ozzie, that's wonderful! You'll have to bring him up some time- anyone that can capture a heart like yours must be one heck of a guy! He's, uh, not one of Mammon's, is he?

[ Now trying to remember what he had read about this 'scandalous' relationship, but a part of him had thought it was just the typical rag gossip and hadn't fully paid attention. The news constantly says so much crazy shit, how is he supposed to know what's real?? ]

gasp! a fizzy!

[ Oh boy. He knows what he's really asking and is quick to give him a follow-up answer. But even with these concerns it's hard to wipe the smile off his face at talking about Fizzy. ]

He was under contract with Mammon, but he's from Pride originally.

[ So, no. He wasn't raised to be a weirdo creep who will do anything for money. Or indeed that far under the spell of money. ]

He's all about the art of clowning. I'll bring him around to Charlie's hotel! I haven't seen baby girl in ages.

[ There's a pause and he pulls away from the stars completely to really look at Lucifer. ]

How are you holding up?

[ Does he really need to elaborate? ]

[ Originally from Pride? Interesting! That tells him a few things about the imp's station - though he doesn't put much into the ridiculous heiarchy the Hellborn have made for themselves (really the sinners have always been the lowest of the low in his opinion, even if that isn't terribly fair of him) - and explains even more about where things have come up between his fellow sin and this imp that's won his heart.

Really, it does more to warm Lucifer's heart than one might guess. In his heart of hearts, he can be a real softie about some things. ]

Charlie would be so happy to see you! It's been forever since she's seen her Uncle Ozzie. [ It's so strange to say out loud, but there had been a time and place when things like this had been so much more commonplace. When Lucifer had brought Charlie to spend time with her 'aunts' and 'uncles', when they had all been closer... then came the unspoken moment when it had all been lost. ]

I, er... [ And the smile starts to die on his lips, like a candle being snuffed out to take the light out of his eyes that had been there momentarily, making him clear his throat and instead focus on the stars above. ]

Oh, just fine! I've been helping Charlie get the hotel back into shape after- ah- the battle- and she's very keen on seeing if people's perspectives on the hotel have changed. [ Taking the topic off of himself in a natural slide of the silver tongue because the truth for himself is never a good topic. ]
