Eh, just shitty bar food. Nachos with cheese and a whiskey for breakfast. A bowl of popcorn and a vodka for lunch. Then a bowl of fries smothered in ketchup and another whiskey for dinner.
[There's a brief look of abject horror at something he's said, but Loki recovers a second later.]
...I thought you'd said "a bowl of vodka and popcorn" just then, as if you were eating it like cereal and milk. You did mean you had the vodka on the side, yes?
[One way is unhealthy and a little sad. The other is... probably a bowl of vaguely buttery vodka mush? Ew.]
Coffee. [The first and most important item, clearly.]
Quite a lot of pain au chocolat for breakfast, but then I got distracted and forgot lunch was a thing until late afternoon, at which point it was too late to do anything civilized, so I stole a party charcuterie tray from Costco, and that kept me until ten or eleven at night, and that's an ungodly hour for dinner, too, so the only things open were IHOP and Denny's. Frankly, Denny's food is worse, but so is the clientele so at least I could do some interesting people watching.
So. Yes. Rounded out the evening with bacon and more coffee.
I would never have eaten like that in Asgard, mind you.
I feel like the entire spectrum of humanity can all be found in a single Denny's if you stay there long enough. Of course, who would want to stay that long in a Denny's?
For breakfast, I had Portuguese egg tarts and Guatemalan El Injerto espresso. Lunch was shoyu ramen - the place liked to add a lot of bamboo shoots - and I got it with extra firm noodles, and extra chashu. I drank cold mugicha with it.
...and then because I had that heavy lunch, I went easy on the grilled salmon at dinner and had a lot of the bitter melon salad.
Let's see... Breakfast was rice, grilled smelt, leek and miso soup, and pickled plums. Lunch was a nabe of mountain herbs and oysters in miso broth. Tea and zundamochi in the middle of the day, and...
[ He starts counting on his fingers, but gives up pretty quickly with a slight shrug. ]
Breakfast, coffee. Lunch, coffee and a bean bun. Dinner, two super seanwiches, tempura vegetables, a bowl of udon, wakame with sesame seeds, and a mocha smoothy. And a coffee.
Yesterday I had ordered some Samosa from a small food cart, it was so delicious! Of course, I also had some desserts, I managed to make it to Puspa Cafe and order two Padisarah puddings!
[ She hummed in delight, it was her absolute favorite. ] I might just order another one today.

Yes! Let's see... I had two bowls of rice with some miso soup for breakfast, and two cans of tea; two melon breads between classes, and then for lunch I had to make due with some instant ramen, since I forgot to prep a lunch box? But it was really good! And then... Ah, a strawberry roll cake for dessert! And after class we stopped for some real ramen with Junpei. It was really good! Hagakure is the best.
[ Yeah, there's more. ]
Then we stopped at a convenience store on our way back, got some ice cream and a few snacks, and I think that's it...? Ah, I stayed up late studying, so I made some rice balls as a light snack. Can't concentrate on an empty stomach, right? Which reminded me that I got some pudding left from work at the café, so I had it as a reward!
Let's see....chocolate cake and an apple for breakfast. Meatball sub with chips and a pickle on the side for lunch. Five rabbits and three squirrels for dinner.
[He was in wolf form at the time for the last one, though people can interpret what he said however they want.]
A single candle, made of human tallow and ash. A precious first-edition book that a particular collector has spent almost thirty years searching for. And in the afternoon, I walked to my favorite cafe and ordered a coffee, but did not drink it.
The coffers at the Devil's Castle have been doing well lately, and there was a sale at the grocery. I was able to make a nice, filling Curry for my liege instead of just rice and vegetables for once.
Our neighbor also acquired a castella cake... A bounty that are deemed too plentiful to eat on her own, so she kindly shared with us over tea.
Well...I'm on kind of a liquid diet, if you know what I mean. [She tugs at the ends of her hair, smiling but slightly insecure about this topic.]
So, you know, I can have herbal tea. Mint and chamomile for breakfast, usually. Coffee's a little too strong, and milk tastes weird so I just skip all of that. Aaand then, you know, you grab a snack in the middle of the workday. Mr. Saentz always has a few bags diverted from blood drives in the area. [A few being an understatement, really.]
I don't like to feed live, is the thing. Like, it's gross when it's cold and the anticoagulants taste...tangy? Like bad lemonade? But it's better than having to lick all over a total stranger's skin and you don't know where they've been. So unless I'm in a mood, it's always gonna be blood bags or making do with cow or pig blood from the butcher.
Mm! But if I melt organic ice cream down I can usually have a spoonful or two before bed, so at least I get a sugar fix.
Though there is an allure for the taste of flesh from the bound tortured souls of the wretched. It gets nicely seasoned when you add an eternity to it. [She's kidding.
Spoiler alert: She's not.]
...though I do enjoy me a good gyro and lemon verbana~
Servants--under most circumstances--don't need to eat. I happened to come across fresh bamboo shoots yesterday, however, so I prepared a dish of takenoko gohan with strips of aburaage. I could hardly serve that by itself, so I also fried harumaki rolls filled with pork, chicken, shrimp, shiitake, carrots, and glass noodles. Since I was already making two spring dishes, I added simple sides of shredded cabbage and harusame salad, and then rounded out the meal with pork cutlets.
It's a shame sea bream isn't yet in season. That would have complemented the rest just as well.
T-There's nothing simple about any of that! How very incredible! As expected of Archer-san, your skills with a knife are truly superb! Really inspiring!

--Actually, no, I did ingest some... well, drugs. That's got to count for something. The Sunshine has flour and sugar in it, even.
Honestly I think my body would get confused if I ate more than thrice a week; it's been decades of slow, miserable starvation.
Not too miserable come to think of it, because as I mentioned previously: drugs.
