Grooming is an important part of many species' rituals. It keeps them clean, healthy, and content. And a good bath? It can change the whole tone of a day from terrible to relaxed and blissful. But nudity is sometimes viewed as a weakness - and it is almost always sexualized - so bathing is often kept a private matter. If you do share these moments with someone, they're almost always a significant other or a sexual partner. Like you're doing now. Whether it be after a battle or after sex (or before sex, even), the two of you are going to get clean. Be sure to help each other out with that, won't you? After all, there are places on the back that just can't be reached... Let's do something in the past for once!

Rome has its good points and its bad points. Crowley spends far, far too much of his time dealing with the latter, by necessity; Emperor Gaius Caesar Augustus Germanicus makes his stomach churn. When that guy inevitably finds his way Down Below they'll probably put him in charge of something instead of torturing him, and take notes.

But it also has its good points, and this is definitely one of Crowley's favourites: the baths. A huge pool of steaming hot water, as much space as he wants to stretch out in.

It's bliss. Even with other humans around. Sometimes he can even combine business with pleasure, convince whatever mark he's supposed to be corrupting to meet up here and then just lie back and relax while they get on with their own damnation without his having to actually do anything. But today he's just here for fun.

There's a few tricks to it, of course. He has to make sure he looks anataomically correct and no scales are showing, and that there's a glamour or two in place so no one notices his eyes.

Still. Bliss. He could stay here for hours.
