They weren’t hired for their looks, but I’ve never felt compelled to put paper bags over any heads when going over their contracts because of the sight of them. Looks are subjective though, so I’ll let you decide when you arrive.
There’s often music, yeah. Also dancing, it depends on the night and the act. I like to change it up and provide a platform to new local talent. I won’t pretend a part of me doesn’t wish I had the time and energy to invest in a proper revitalization of a good poetry slam night.
I’ll keep that in mind, it’s appreciated. I normally leave the talent picking to others in my crew, but you know poetry is near and dear to the closest approximation of a heart I have. It's not surprising that those you inspire would then write about you.
Purely an admirer. I’ve never written anything, nor wanted to be a performer. I enjoy reading and deconstructing how magic tricks work, and sometimes my work involves costumes and playing parts, but that’s where it ends. I do know a very accomplished musician though, even if he doesn’t consider himself as such.
