I'll be having a talk with her when she gets home. She can make her own decisions on whether or not to join the theatre, but she'd better not forget her manners.

I just think she's talented, is all. No intention to actually steal her away.

She is talented, I'll give you that, though singing is not a skill most would expect from a tressym.

I'll be honest, I didn't really expect it either. But that's all the more reason why I think she's amazing and deserves to be on stage. And if she's having a lot of fun that makes me happy, too.

I can't fault your logic there. Tara deserves to enjoy herself every now and again. After all, she has to deal with me on a regular basis.

I doubt Tara sees it as dealing with you, and neither do I. She's around you because she wants to be.

In all fairness, she's around because I conjured her; however, the fact that she stuck around is on her.

Exactly! It's the "sticking around" part that's important. But I hope it goes without saying that I like hanging around you, too.

It does go without saying, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy hearing it. Especially from one of the few people I know who shares in my sentiment for well-maintained hair.

That is just about one of the sweetest things you could possibly say. It's good to know that someone appreciates the effort I put into my hair.

Speaking of, though, has anyone ever braided yours?

Years ago, when I was younger. My mother always did say I looked good with a braid.

Yeah? You should let me braid your hair some time. I promise I know what I'm doing! Lots of practice and all.
