Sometimes it's all you need. I'd rather be out doing the Flamebird thing, but there are nights where Batwoman gets all sketchy about it, which, rude, considering I've been doing it longer than she has.
[Not that Kate doesn't have a point, but Bette's already been cut open from stem to sternum and survived. She did the Hawkfire thing, she did the West Point thing - though she clearly left because it wasn't for her. But sometimes, it's not so much worth the arguing with her hot-headed cousin.]
Don't worry about the winnings. Just surprise me with a Sundollar coffee the next time you see me lighting up a rooftop late at night. Call it even.
