Is there a place you know you'll always be safe?

I can't think of anywhere that is guaranteed to always be safe. It's always been in degrees that fluctuate. The odds get stronger though if I think in terms of people I'm with, rather than just literal locations.

Is safety an immediate concern of yours?

I suppose.... I could be safer. But you are right, I would feel better if I had guards I trust.

Can there ever be a guarantee of safety?

There can never be a guarantee in my experience, no. All one can do is try and minimize risks, but never eliminate them entirely. These aren't guards you've chosen yourself, then?

No, they are the Kingsguard. They belong to the King first. [ Even of the other, less important guards, no one is loyal to her alone. ]

I am trying to minimize the risks. If not for me, than for my children.

How could I not put my children first? They are innocent. They did not choose to be born into the royal family.

Strangely enough, dark and quiet. First thing I do when I get to a new place is get stuff up on the walls and over the windows.

Fabric, usually. Old reams on thrift, carpet sometimes. It helps stop the sound. Just because it's quiet doesn't mean I'm quiet. Makes it feel cozy, too, like a cocoon or something.

What would you need, to make yourself feel safe?

I don't know. Soft blankets, a warmth in the air. Knowing everything is in its place.

...I guess it's more a state of mind than actual things.

I-- [ Okay, give her a second, she's having a Realization. ] I have not had enough pillows in one place since I was a kid for a pillow fort, but I'm gonna fix that soon.

Where is your favorite place you've travelled?

I would gladly take you, but you may find the method of travel to be somewhat jarring.

[ Yennefer's made no secret of her magic around Elia, enough to where she's seen her make use of a portal more than a few times. But taking someone with her through said portal was always a little risky, depending on how they might react to the magic of it. ]

There was a world I visited once that was filled with many lush, tropical beaches and jungles, and not a human in sight. It was very peaceful.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
