THE (summer) FIGHT MEME



What else needs to be said? Release your inner warrior and partake in some epic (or hilariously bad) battles! Do you use a sword? Are you a martial arts master? Are you a wizard? Can you even fight?

It doesn't matter if you're just having a friendly spar or deciding the fate of the universe. You're suddenly filled with the urge to fight the next person you meet. Cut loose and show off your skills!

Not all fights are physical. Maybe you're just really mad and really loud.

This is possibly the dumbest limp-wristed flail fight you've ever been involved in.

3: WITS
Because why would you beat someone into the ground when you can humiliate them with your massive intellect instead?

4: PRIZEFIGHT
There's an audience to watch and a prize at stake that only one of you can walk away with. Best bring your A-game.

5: SPARRING
You're fighting to improve. Whether you know your partner or whether you've
just met, you can be pretty sure you're walking away from this one.

6: GRUDGE MATCH
Your hated rival is in town. It's time for a rematch.

7: BAR FIGHT
Welcome to the mother of all drunken brawls.

8: YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS!
Maybe your opponent is your friend/sibling/love/other cherished person. Maybe
you're a pacifist. Either way, you're in this fight, but you really
don't want to be.

9: TO THE DEATH
This is it. Too much has happened for this to be anything but a fight to the end. Only one of you is walking away from this.

10: OBLIGATORY SMUT OPTION
Hate sex is the best. And some people like smut and some do not.

11: AGAINST THE HORDE
It's you and your ally against many. Demons, zombies, whatever. Rip and tear, until it is done.

12: GODMODE
You and your opponent both have world-breaking superpowers, and frankly everyone would be happier if you weren't fighting. You are, though, and it's awesome, even if there might not be much left when you're done.

(Luka here is a fighter in an MMA-ish underground fight club, so maybe Prizefight for these two, at a Shinra-organised event or something?)

(Rude also goes seeking out underground fight clubs after hard days at work so we could also run it as that if you want. He'll try to find places that doesn't know he is a turk though. )

It had been a shitty mission, they had managed to pull it off but barely. And given that it was a Friday, Reno and Rude had headed out on the town after. Several drinks in, Reno had found some interesting company for the night and left Rude at the bar. And Rude wasn't in the mood for this particular bar on his own.

And that was how he had ended up at the underground fight ring in one of the old warehouses. He had known where to go, Shinra knew about these but didn't bother doing anything about them, and right now he had figured it would be exactly what he was in the mood for. And of course it was expected that the new guy would get in the ring on the first night.

So now he is in the middle of the crowd, eyeing his opponent. That arm is going to be a challenge, it is worth checking out exactly what kind of enhancements it gives the other. Rude on the other hand has no visible enhancements, he's left all of his turk gear at home, choosing to go in civilian clothing. Except for the sunglasses of course, can't leave those out.

There were more of them then he could count. What they were? He still wasn't sure of. Which means the best thing he could do was keep moving. He used different gifts along the way. Surge the power to kill the lights. Electricity to shock and stun them. He could probably face them alone but what if they overwhelmed him? It was best to try to find help and maybe shelter.

Ashley wasn't sure where he was, just that this door actually opened when he turned the knob. He stumbled inside and quickly shut the door behind him, pushing his back up against it.

"What the actual fuck is going on out there?"

"Werewolves, looks like." Kasimir stood at a window, peeking out around the closed blinds. "Awful, mindless werewolves. They look diseased." His lip was curled in disgust at the pocked skin, green ooze, and worse. "I hope you're alright, because I doubt that door is going to deter them if they get curious. I don't know what drew them out and drew them here, but they need to be stopped. And we can't stay here."

"Fuck." He raked a hand over his head. "Dancers." Ashley wanted to argue that these weren't werewolves. They were wrong. Corrupt.

Ashley pushed off the door and started to strip down. He liked these clothes and he knew now he had to change.

"Silver will fuck them up. Try not to hit me, please." What drew them there? Probably Ashley.

He didn't have any need for money or prizes but he has his pride. Once challenged to a fight he wasn't going to back down. And he was happy to put on a show. Things have happened in his life lately that have left him with some anger to work out.

He also wasn't completely sure of what he had gotten himself into. What were the rules? Did he have to stay in his human body or could he shapeshift?

Ash bounced on the balls of his feet a few times. He cracked his neck and his knuckles as he waited.

Luka, meanwhile, was the perpetual showman. He leapt into the ring, vaulting the ropes, throwing off his jacket and shirt to leave himself barechested, and raised his arms as if he'd already won, soaking in the cheers.

It was obvious he was at a physical disadvantage here, even with the robotic arm. He was easily seven inches shorter than his opponent, after all, and much more wiry. That wasn't going to stop him, though.

"Nice to meet you. Don't take it personal when I knock you out cold, okay?"
