You're fighting to improve. Whether you know your partner or whether you've
just met, you can be pretty sure you're walking away from this one.

Welcome to the mother of all drunken brawls.

ROUND 7: YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS!

you're a pacifist. Either way, you're in this fight, but you really

Why wouldn't it stand to reason there would be some that embody everything they despised about humanity to the point they felt physically ill?

That being said... just because they hung around a Frisk who wouldn't hurt a fly didn't mean they aren't the sort to not hurt others. Chara raised their knife, expression set in stone yet filled with... DETERMINATION.

This world is certainly different than most other worlds that she's been to so far. For one, the defenders of this world aren't Riders. And for another, her blade is usable outside of her Rider form, remaining sheathed by her side. The type of monsters here are more dangerous as well - Horrors, is what the one in the white trench coat called them.

He and his companion in the black trench coat...Makai Knights is what they called themselves. They have armor, but it works so differently than how Rider Armor works. She can't help but feel amazed at how these seemingly human men are able to go toe-to-toe with these monsters with just blades and their well-trained bodies. Only Tsukasa and the Legendary Riders could do something like that without transforming.

And she wants to learn how. Problem is? They're not used to seeing women wielding a blade, apparently. Something about how no woman's allowed to be a Knight in this world. And that irks her to no end. She's not a Knight; she's a Rider. And her fellow Riders don't care very much if one's male or female, human or not.

"And how can I convince you to let me fight alongside you?!" She snapped at them one afternoon. Some other Knights had joined them, and had been making rude remarks about the idea of a woman wielding a blade, claiming that she was 'playing' at being a warrior. The Nerve of it all! Why, she's half-tempted to just thumb the lot of them and wash her hands of these insensitive, backwards-thinking jerks.

[1, 2, 4, 5 (w discussion for dynamics), 6, 7 (w discussion for dynamics), or 10 are all fine. i'm good with playing this for laughs or for drama, probably both since i tend to start off humorous and let things gather momentum as they go along.

a little bit of assumed cr is ok (perhaps they've met at school/on the street/at the x-mansion) but i also am perfectly fine with first meetings. cross-canon encouraged. i prefer playing it out as him being a bit younger than x men: apocalypse's timeline says, because the 10 year gap presses my suspension of disbelief. how did charles get to 50 looking like that i mean really.

[Jack sent his application to Xavier's school the minute it opened once more after construction was finished.

He was accepted, thankfully. With the tension surrounding mutants growing after the mysterious nuclear event not long ago, he was eager to escape his Pennsylvania suburban home and find a place where he wouldn't be followed by gasps of terror and wary looks whenever frost and ice happened to trail after him as he walked to school.

Here, barely anybody looked twice at him, and if they did, it was usually out of interest or curiosity just like when he admired the other students' gifts. Already he'd made a handful of friends in his classes, though it quickly became clear that few wanted to spend much time sparring with him. Maybe he threw one to many snowballs at their faces, or shoved snow down the backs of their shirts a bit too often.

Oh well.

Jack was currently outside, covering a decent sized patch of grass with a blanket of fluffy snow. He wanted to practice extending his reach further, and with the staff he'd started using, his focus was drastically improving. True, he had no where near Ororo's power, but he was trying.]
