(no subject)

the TEXTS FROM LAST NIGHT meme

one ➝ post with your character and their name/canon/pref in the subject.
two ➝ either post with a tfln or just wait for someone.

three ➝ respond to people's texts or tag them with your own.

four ➝ fun time for all!

you do this often. [It's not a question.]

[Clean blood out of tile? No. Provide remote instructions of an arcane nature? Of course.] It's a simple matter of chemistry. Or Google.

It should also render useless any blood samples taken.
[As an afterthought. How nice that this person is cleaning up their mess rather than blowing up the entire building. It's practically domestic and, to be quite frank, a nice change. Not that Q's adverse to the proper application of explosive material, but when you have the same dessert all the time, it becomes exceptionally less enticing.]

i don't intend to let anyone close enough to take blood samples.

[The authorities don't know about her new apartment, yet, seeing as it's in another name. And there's no sense in blowing something up unless it's absolutely necessary.]

That's fine then. Did you need anything else? I have the browser open. [HAHAHA he hopes she pictures somebody sitting at a frumpy Sony desktop or something equally horrible.]

i would ask what your search engine has to say about body disposal but i've already taken care of it.

How is it that you're adept at disposing of bodies but not cleaning up the mess? Those things tend to go hand in hand in my experience.

perhaps i was just looking for a second opinion.

It seems a bit odd. [Lisbeth can't see him shrug.] Was that it, then? [As Q gently probes the network Lisbeth is texting from, spinning a web of information about this person who deposes bodies but can't clean blood.]

[Not so fast, crime scene expert. Lisbeth doesn't let just anyone hack into her business, which means he might be able to get some general information about the city she's texting from but nothing about the phone owner.]

i would suggest stopping what you're doing. [Lest you want her to do the same to you.]

Helping an anonymous stranger?

[Oh but that's very interesting. He should be able to pull up all kinds of information. There are only a handful of people in the world who could potentially go toe-to-toe with him, and only one in that area of Europe.

He smiles.

That's a duel he'd be interested in saluting into -- she's welcome to try. He's eating chips outside of a tube station and mucking about on his tablet, not fully ensconced in his electronic castle, so the results might be debatable as an actual measure of skill at the moment.]

eidetics: (one mistake in a subtle way)

[personal profile] eidetics 2013-05-09 05:52 am (UTC)(link)
you're working to take away that anonymity

which makes you less helpful.

[There are few people outside of Lisbeth's own circle who could match her skills, as far as she knows. And this is not one of her web acquaintances.

Give her a few moments to pause in tile scrubbing. She'll be on her laptop soon enough.]

You can hardly blame me for being curious. Such questions are apt make one wonder.

[A slight pause.]

We don't appear to be acquaintances at any rate.

[Ah they'll be playing on an uneven field then. Q doesn't shy from a challenge, though.]

How is the grout coming?
