Only 'cause I didn't wanna deal with a cryin' Vanille an' Hope lata'. [It's really because she cares, but you're gonna get her being an ass right now, because well, that was dumb.]

[she's going to cross her arms with a huff, petulant about the cast around her right ankle.] Yeah, yeah. It was just a bad fall. Better me than either of those two, don't you think?

Should 'ave been any of us. [Stubborn Fang is stubborn, ok?]

An' it wouldn't 'ave been if ya 'adn't gone off so far ahead of everyone.

[leers.] Like I said: too slow. Are you done or do I have to take as much lecturing as my medicine?

No. [The word was firm, possibly overly so.]

You gotta cool ya heels is the problem 'ere, Light. [Says the person who's threatened to take on the whole party.] If ya go off and get yaself impaled by some beast there's gotta be no one for Serah t'come back to.

I knew what I was doing, Fang, and I know that. It's the only reason I keep fighting.

There's a difference between fightin' everythin' ya come in contact with an' pickin' ya battles. [Clearly if it had been bad enough that no one could use their medic role to fix it, this was something they really hadn't been ready for.]

That wasn't a good pick. [This might just be as closely to motherly as Fang gets.]

[looks at her rebelliously.] Are you looking for an apology, mom?

[Eyes would narrow at Light with a rather displeased look.]

If ya gonna be suicidal about ya fights, don't expect me t'save ya next time.

[clicks her teeth and rolls her eyes.] You're blowing this way out of proportion. That thing was heading our way anyway. Did you want to see it trample Vanille instead?

[Okay, now she's starting to get a little pissy. Fang didn't normally blow shit out of proportion and she wasn't starting now.]

Vanille an' Hope both tried 'ealing ya. Neither of them could. You think we'd be 'ere if it wasn't for some serious damage? [Com'mon Light, don't be stupid.]

Everyone's safe, and I've got nothing worse than a broken bone. Could you leave me alone already?

Thank Lady Luck they are. [Eyes remained narrowed at Light for a moment before Fang sighed, shaking her head and standing.]

Yeah, don't take too long gettin' that fixed. We got a lot t'do an' not much time t'do it in.

[returns her disapproval with a pointed look.] The sooner you leave the sooner I can rest and the quicker I can recover. [maybe. if she doesn't get bored out of her mind and die first. but she'll stay optimistic.] I trust you can all handle yourselves without me for a day.
