HOSPITAL ZONE
what's going on while you're here?
is your character sick
are they are a nurse?
maybe they making out somewhere with the doctor!!
or perhaps its a dramatic death scene in one of the rooms
get creative!

Y'awake, sweetheart?
i wanna be nice and say she had her tonsils removed. which is still horrid. IDK
Sometimes nice is fun, we can't be mean to them always. :3
tonsilectomy it is, then. so she can be adorable and not-speaking
All of it is wonderful, as are you. Thank you.
Poor Chalie. <3
Y'need anything getting?

And nope. I live to flatter you, sweetheart.

Ain't the flattery 'posed to be my job?

I like to think we take turns. How's Hugo?

Sharing the load ain't gonna get a complain from me. [ He smiles, pats her hand. ] The dog's fine, think he's missing you though.

[Ever polite, Ken knocks on the door frame of Charlie's room first, peeking in curiously. His voice is just as quiet and soft as knocks were.]
Charlie-san? Are you up for a visit? [They said she was awake, but she might not care for visitors right now.]
no subject
Hi. They said I can go home tomorrow.

Good. So nothing too serious happened? [He had been so worried at first, hearing she was in the hospital, scared. His heart beat nearly stopped, loud and slow in his ears. This was such a relief.]
You should have asked for help, for someone to spot you.

Nothings broken, though. They just want me here because I have a very slight concussion and they want to make sure I'm alright.

[Gives her a worried glance when she winces.]
Was it really that important it couldn't wait?

[She shrugs before giving a quick nod towards the dresser nearby.] Travel-sized Battleship. Care for a round?

[He goes to the dresser and rummages around for it, shaking his head a little.]

I'm... I'm terribly sorry. Wrong room, I see. I was quite certain the nurses told me... it was this room, but, er... clearly... clearly I misheard.

That's alright. [Don't mind the scratchy tone to her voice. It's nothing to do with why she's here. It's the hospital air. She's here because she was in a car accident, had hit her head pretty damn well and they wanted to keep here for observation.] The nurses on shift right now are a bit inept.
no subject
[He glances between her and the door, not quite sure what to do now.] You, er... you aren't infectious are you? Not to be... rude, or anything. I simply don't wish infect anyone when I leave here. Perhaps it would be better that I went straight home. Reduce the chance of spreading it on, so to speak.
Not that I'm saying for a moment that you look like you're infectious. It's just your, ah... it's just your voice. It has a something of a raw quality to it. But then again, perhaps that's how you always speak, in which case I've probably offended you.

[She pauses, shifting on the hospital bed for a moment. These things are not designed for comfort, are they?] I'm Charlie.

[Ralph isn't used to getting introductions, so he blinks for a moment or two before he answers.] I'm... Ralph. It's lovely to meet you. Erm, Charlie.

There was a slight accident in the lower field. Whoever said fixing the drainage couldn't land you in hospital was... well, they were wrong. It's the least I can do, really. It is my field, after all.
