This includes a man's chest, a woman's chest, even a treasure chest if you're really into that sort of thing. [His exclamation startles her. She drops his hand and her eyes fly wide open.]

How is that a surprise? Didn't I make a point before when I asked if you'd leave your gang?

[And he insisted he wouldn't kick and scream, just put his foot down.]

[ Does that mean she was considering being with him back then? ]

It was... mostly a hypothetical example.

[It's her turn to let her gaze fall away. To be quite fair she was more testing his loyalty and gauging his investment, but his answer also served as a basis for assumption that nothing would become of them afterwards.]

I thought you meant following someone who didn't care about other things in my life. Who wanted me to forget everything and do whatever they said I should.

[ a realization comes to him and he follows her gaze down. ]

I guess I've been doing that to you, huh.

...I want a bath. Would you want to join me?

[She'll take his hand once more. A soft offer to change the scene since the mood of the conversation has changed.]

[ Such an intimate thing for her to suggest. It goes along with what he'd been saying he wants from this. In a drastic contrast from earlier where he'd jumped up, eagerly scrambling around when she offered him a bj, instead he's squeezing her hand and calmly following her from the room.].

[She leads him to the bathroom. Western style, like the rest of the house, with its luxuriously deep tub and her expensive hair and body products. She doesn't hesitate to let go of his hand so she can draw the bath. Keeping by the faucet to test the temperature.]

I add my own scents to the products because the fake stuff can be too cloying. For you... sandalwood and sage? Or perhaps patchouli and bergamot...

[When the temperature is just right she plugs the drain and stands from the edge of the tub to remove the rest of her clothes.]

[ Bandou leans against the counter as Tohsaka fusses about prepping the bath. His excitement has gone down for the most part, not that finally seeing her fully nude helps. To distract himself, he picks through the soaps. He's used to cheap, two in one product soaps, so all these fancy bottles are given unsure looks. ]

I don't know what any of those small like. What do you like the most?

Sandalwood and sage, then.

[She walks to the medicine cabinet and plucks the aromatherapy oils. Sandalwood was purchased, but Rin makes her own sage, rosemary, and a few others. For herself she picks rose and geranium. All these scents, actually, pair well together which is why she picks them.]

We'll add them when it comes time to use the soaps. Unless— do you have sensitive skin?

[ He looks down at his arms, then stomach, as if it'd give him the answer somehow. ]

I don't think so. This is all pretty fancy. No wonder you always smell so nice.

[erbe]

I have to do this, or else I'll smell like an apothecary.

[Tohsaka dabs a small bit of sandalwood oil on her index finger, and smears it along his inner arm. Despite their state of undress Tohsaka seems comfortable. Perhaps it's because imparting knowledge and seeming impressive is her 'in her element'.]

There, patch test.

[ And it is truly impressive to him. The only "knowledge" he has of magecraft is what video games have thought up. He wonders why he hasn't asked her more about it all. Well, if she'd even tell him.

Nothing of note seems to happen to where she applied the oil to his skin, so he lifts it to his nose to smell. ]

Do you actually mix up potions and stuff, or is that fictional bs people came up with?

[He'll find that sandalwood has a warm, earthy scent. On the sweeter side, which makes it a good balance for the sage, but still typically known as distinctly masculine.]

I do, actually. My magic circuits require that I ingest a daily medicine to ward off excruciating pain. But it's bitter taste leaves much to be desired.

[And her medicine is 100% why she heavily perfumes herself. Tohsaka gestures at the tub.]

You should sit first, yeah? Because you legs are longer.

[ He looks to the marking on her hand as he slips into the water. He can only imagine that's what she means by magic circuits. ]

Why would it hurt you?

[ The only feeling he gets from his aura is warmth. ]

My circuits are a culmination of 2000 years of knowledge and research in magecraft in my family. I inherited them like every other magus in my family has, and the more power we pass on the larger the strain on the body.

[Carefully she slips in after him. Settling between his legs with her back facing his chest. She lifts one hand, and a pattern like a motherboard ciruit line appears from her wrist and fading as it gets closer to her elbow. For a short while they glow blue before allowing them to disappear from sight entirely.]

[ As the markings glow, he can't help reaching out to run his fingers along it. ]

Reminds me of JUNGLE's insignia.

[ Once they've fully faded, he takes her hand, pressing both their arms in a loose hug around her middle. ]

[Hrm, why does she feel like being so forthcoming? Is it because he finally has understood the reality of "what comes after"? Maybe. Tohsaka reaches forward to turn off the faucet when the bathwater has reached an acceptable height in the tub. Shortly after she leans back into his embrace — gently resting her weight on him.]

Mm, it's getting close, you know. I still haven't decided on a catalyst.

[At least she won't have to worry about another lonely birthday. She'll have more important things to care about, like the war.]

[ Bandou's tone of voice is fairly flat as his fingers absently traces along hers. ]

You asked about a person, but it'd have to be an item we can get to around here, right?

[The heat of the bath gets her to melt in his hold, and the gentle way he touches her is soothing, too.]

Yeah... the idea is that using a catalyst can sometimes influence who you're able to summon. Without one it's like picking names from a hat, but if you have something connected to the person you're trying to call forth it's like incentive. Or perhaps more like a lighthouse in a storm.

[ Makes enough sense to him that he gives a short hum of understanding. ]

I don't know what any of the museums have here, but their websites probably say. We could check it out after this, if you want.

[ Though, he'd rather just dry off and climb under the covers of one of their beds together to fall asleep. ]

...You mean we wouldn't have to visit every one to know what exhibits they're hosting?

[She sounds genuinely shocked! Though if it's that easy they could just make a day of it. Like a dat—]

[ He knows she's not a fan of her smartphone, but is she really this behind on tech knowledge? ]

Wh... why would I use it for anything else? Um — actually I do! I take pictures of gems to save for and which shops have the best sales.

[Not all the pictures come out clear...]

Um, the internet? That's the main point of a smart phone!

[ Not the phone part, obviously. Camera is probably second place in terms of importance, though. ]
