THE FIGHT MEME

What else needs to be said? Release your inner warrior and partake in some epic (or hilariously bad) battles! Do you use a sword? Are you a martial arts master? Are you a wizard? Can you even fight?
It doesn't matter if you're just having a friendly spar or deciding the fate of the universe. You're suddenly filled with the urge to fight the next person you meet. Cut loose and show off your skills!
RULES
◘ Post with your character! List your fighting preferences if you'd like (Sparring, Death Battles, Anything Goes, etc.)
◘ Reply to someone else
◘ ROUND 1...
◘ ... FIGHT!
Here are some prompts to pick from (or RNG from):
1: VERBAL
Not all fights are physical. Maybe you're just really mad and really loud.
2: WUSSY
This is possibly the dumbest limp-wristed flail fight you've ever been involved in.
3: WITS
Because why would you beat someone into the ground when you can humiliate them with your massive intellect instead?
4: PRIZEFIGHT
There's an audience to watch and a prize at stake that only one of you can walk away with. Best bring your A-game.
5: SPARRING
You're fighting to improve. Whether you know your partner or whether you've
just met, you can be pretty sure you're walking away from this one.
6: GRUDGE MATCH
Your hated rival is in town. It's time for a rematch.
7: BAR FIGHT
Welcome to the mother of all drunken brawls.
8: YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS!
Maybe your opponent is your friend/sibling/love/other cherished person. Maybe
you're a pacifist. Either way, you're in this fight, but you really
don't want to be.
9: TO THE DEATH
This is it. Too much has happened for this to be anything but a fight to the end. Only one of you is walking away from this.
10: OBLIGATORY SMUT OPTION
Hate sex is the best. And some people like smut and some do not.
11: AGAINST THE HORDE
It's you and your ally against many. Demons, zombies, whatever. Rip and tear, until it is done.
12: GODMODE
You and your opponent both have world-breaking superpowers, and frankly everyone would be happier if you weren't fighting. You are, though, and it's awesome, even if there might not be much left when you're done.
13: RANDOM
Your very own personalized scenario.

So when a single SPARTAN-II appeared with the mission to capture, destroy, and assassinate assets from Arasaka, Militech, Biotechnica, and many more corporations and executives that had blatantly treated Night City as their own feudal kingdom, none of them appreciated UNSC interference.
Due to this, they sought to 'fix' it. Which was why the streets thundered with explosives that launched an executive car up in flames and shrapnel, bouncing against the patterned energy shields that deflected most of the rounds. The Spartan bolted past the hail of gunfire, trading gunshots with what was essentially a miniature cyborg woman.
The Master Chief had been warned about 'Adam Smasher', and said asset had been designated as a number one assassination priority. But the shortstack that tore holes through metal and concrete walls with enough firepower to take over a UNSC colony had emerged as the biggest obstacle so far.
He wondered if Grunts would reincarnate into even shorter, angrier beings. In the cover of smoke, the Master Chief removed the empty magazine and changed it for a fresh one, and stood back to his seven feet of height.

If Grunts only got more aggressive when they had a one-man wrecking crew bearing down on them, then maybe they'd come close to giving that comparison weight. The size of a Grunt and the tenacity of a god damned Hunter, now that was the shortstack currently tearing her way through round after round fed inside of her HMG. The thing was freakin' enormous, held in Rebecca's grip solely due to the boost in strength those huge Cyberarms of hers gave her.
Shit, this wasn't even how things were supposed to go! It was rare that Rebecca ended up cut off from the rest of her crew, and why would she ever help any of those Corpo bastards anyways?! The job was short, sweet, and simple: use the chaos between the UNSC and the mutual interest Coalition that had formed between the vying corporations against the encroaching governmental reach to secure an Arasaka VIP on the scene who had obtained secret information about the UNSC's power structure that would've proven vital to turning the tide of their "war." Maine's crew, now headed by the legendary Martinez boy, were given the job through Wakako, who wanted to interrogate the VIP herself... or protect them. That much wasn't given to them and it wasn't like they cared.
But a new member of the crew had already been killed in the crossfire and Rebecca was getting pretty damned sick of this whole operation. As fury grew, aggressiveness made her shout more and more after every shot from the weapon. She was aggressive enough to keep distance between herself and the Chief, and stop anyone else from intruding on this "dance" of theirs, but she was running low on rounds with only her Guts on backup slung against her lower back. As John-117 went to reload, Rebecca scowled and threw the HMG down. "Fuck this," the tinier girl grumbled, pulling her uniquely named shotgun from her lower back and raising it with a scowl.
"HEY, ASSHOLE!" shouted Rebecca, not seeming to care about their height difference or the carnage going on around them. "We've got no beef with you, so why don't you go get blown up by those Arasaka gonks and get the hell outta my way?!"

Arasaka Security Division had declared that thee sole UNSC personnel on Night City had violated private corporate property, and were within their rights to engage him and confiscate whatever equipment he had for as long as necessary.
However, Arasaka Security had been trained to fight gangs packed to the brim with mechanical augmentations. Not Spartan commandos. They realized that too late.
"No."
The Spartan vanished out of the gunfire with a dash that tore the pavement with every footstep, slinging out his pistol to counter-attack the monstrous weapon Rebecca had. He wasn't sure if the rounds hit. With his targeting systems disrupted, he couldn't be sure if the sparks were either bullets landing close to the 'fixer' or if the mechanical augmentations were genuinely serving as armor.
But the Arasaka Security Team that hastily began to fire did not have the same luck. The Master Chief leaped onto one of the balconies on the third floor, grabbed one of the windows, and leaped with enough force to shred the hanging wall. Then, the Arasaka hover lost control when the Spartan brought it down -- and used the very vehicle as a shield against Rebecca's barrage. Gunfire tore it like confetti.
He then forced the remnant of the craft to fall near Rebecca. The Master Chief did not expect it to hit her, as she was nimble target. That, and all that remained from that hover after a heavy machinegun barrage was a chassis turned into cheddar.
The Master Chief leaped away, and rolled on the floor. He then transmitted.
"Arasaka Corporation has violated UN Colonial Mortal Dictata, and attempted to secede from the United Earth Government," he said. "I am here to bring it to justice."
As he got a clearer look at his opponent, every military instinct warned him of the danger: Packed with enough mechanical augmentations not to look the age. Arms as big as those of a Brute and enough to handle the recoil of any weapon she wanted. Targeting systems embedded in artificial eyes. Probably even more. In another world, this woman would have been a lethal Spartan... and right now, she was a dangerous opponent.
Worst of all, Adam Smasher was not here. It was possible all the fixers were paid for was giving them time before their asset was in place. Cheaper, more self-sufficient, and more starved for money, than contractors that would flee the moment the odds turned against them.
"I am not here for you," he says as he raises his rifle again, past the fire, trying to raise his radar to try to find more targets Arasaka may try to corner him with to protect their hides.
"But if you fight me, I will."

Got in a Halloween & Body Horror mood
Their names and profiles of the contestants could have been familiar to people just entering the Monster Match Arena. Even in their changed forms and their feral expressions, they had previous reputations of heroes and heroines of the multiverse. All of them had somehow broken out of their worlds, and spent their time in other dimensions.
The unmentioned risk was what happened to you if you spent too long outside of your world, or if you let all worlds change you, unwillingly or even willingly. A few years of age, muscle, or even ears and tail were nothing to worry about; but then there were those that spent time among the fae, made a wrong pact, and turned into beasts that literally lacked names; Others lived on technological marvels, and had so much of their flesh turned into metal, there ended up being little left of them; And even something as innocuous such as magic, technology, and power being used to become more powerful against an otherworldly threat... until they were no longer their own species.
Those that were caught, they were brought here. As the marvelous beasts of the multiverse in cataclysmic matches. Not to the death, no. That would be barbaric and a waste of mountains of money and publicity. Besides, many of these monsters were too beloved to be mistreated inside or even outside the arena, so they had to be treated accordingly.
But when their turn came, the arena ensured they would turn into what people wanted to see: Monsters. It was the beastmasters' job to pull them back when it was done.
"Welcome," the voice echoed through the megaphones spread out around the colossal arena, "to the twentieth-seventh Monster Match Arena! This season, we are brought with both new and old to partake in the coming matches.
"The fights, the behind-the-scenes, the lives of the beasts. All will be here. Stay tuned for the next match!"

[One bright side of being military: Someone always knows the best place to find a fight.
Bright side of having been submerged in crime since you were fifteen: Archie has vanishingly few qualms about taking part in an underground fight club.
He doesn't try to draw attention to himself as he slips into the fight club -- originally an underground car park, now repurposed for cage matches, with a cage in the center and tables for the audience to make bets. He just quietly signs up and waits for his turn.
When his name is called, the club's bouncers give him all of six seconds to take off his shirt and shoes before they herd him into the cage, leaving him to wait under the harsh lights for his opponent to turn up.]

[Unagiya Shop takes plenty of weird odd jobs, and this one -- substituting in for an underground cage fighter who had to bow out of his fight at the last minute -- might be the weirdest. Of all the shop's employees, though, Ichigo's just about the only one who can fulfill this particular request.
Which is why he's in a fighting cage now, dressed in black shorts and orange gloves, hands behind his head as he waits for his opponent. It's not the grungiest venue in town (in fact, it looks like it's a respectable enough nightclub most of the time), and he's glad of that, but the crowd it's drawn tonight seems especially eager for blood.
Which is fine. Ichigo's happy enough to provide. He's never one to turn down a fight unless he absolutely has to.]
