[The hell of it is, she actually remembered the day. Even bought a present as a sort of combined "Happy Birthday" and "Oh, god, thank you for putting up with my flatmate and I am so, so sorry you have to" gift.

[Feferi heard about these human wiggling days. They were supposed to be fun! She really didn't understand why, being from a culture that celebrating your birthday meant self-flagellating oneself and lamenting their own faults, but who was she to back down from a good time? Glub! 38D

So Feferi has gone all-out. She's hand-maid streamers, made food, prepared punch! A huge birthday cake is ready, and she's got music and even *gasp* a festive outfit! Sure some of it looks a bit weird, but she's really truly trying to make Richter's birthday perfect.

Finally, the hardest part, was waiting. She sat patiently on a sofa. Eyes dead set on the door that Richter was coming into, squeaking when her thoughts went to how excited he would be, which was often. This was going to be sooo much fun!!]

instead she stands there arms extended, hands dirty, and looks at him challengingly as she holds out a brown paper package with a bow of white ribbon ( which is meant for her hair ) around it. she could have asked xavier for wrapping paper, but she didn't want to give the impression he'd forced her into this thoughtful gesture.

inside he will find a wicker basket, which upturned will offer small protection for his three fluffy little orphans as well as something to chew on, which is filled with dried out pine cones, hay and blueberries. )
