Everyone could use a good massage now and again right? Well it's time to let you characters lay back and relax-- or maybe treat someone else to a little skin therapy. ;) Break out the oils and scented candles, it's time for a good rub down.

How to play:
❧ POST with your character (list their name & canon in the subject if you please)
❧ Others can reply giving the massage or recieving it.
❧ Use RNG to pick from the numbers below, or pick your numbers, or make something up!
❧ Have fun!

Type

001. Shoulder and Neck - the basic of the basic. Perhaps a strained shoulder, been sitting too long at their desk. Or maybe something even more strenuous. However, it's time to work out all those accumulated kinks.

002. Foot - It's time to give those yapping dogs a rest and treat them to a little TLC.

003. Hand - Hey don't forget about the hands, overworked constantly they could use a bit of a break.

004. Arm - Time to loosen up a bit and rub out those arm muscles.

005. Leg - Perhaps you're looking for something a bit more specific and intimate. Calve massage? Thigh? It's your choice.

006. Back - Considered a coup de grace of massage, the back massage, when done right, can bring extreme relief to those who receive it.

007. Scalp - Wanna feel those tingles down your spine? Maybe a little oil to help add health to the hair?

008. Full Body - Maybe it’s not just a specific area you want treated, but your entire body.

009. Wild Card - Anyway you want it. Mix and match, maybe I forgot something you want.

001. Friend - getting a massage from a friend can be a wonderful bonding experience. And exacerbate already existing tensions ;D

002. Lover - Whether a show of care or a prelude to something more intimate, a massage from a lover is a very welcome thing.

[Uh, because he's a broody little vampire and Sally would never see him if she didn't go visit him in his bat cave of a room.

She stares at him for a second before following his hand to the bed.] Um, yeah. What for, exactly?

[fangbangs]

Because you're driving me crazy, and I think we can all agree that any of us being more insane than we already are is a bad thing. [What is he doing. What. No. Stop] I'm giving you a massage.

[reapercussion]

I'm driving you crazy? I'm not the one brooding about my life, hiding out in this dark room like a leper. Again. [But she's taking a step towards the bed because a massage does sound really good. Even if she's, you know, technically seeing someone. This is just a friendly thing, anyway.] Is this some sort of vampire seduction tactic?

[fangbangs]

Which is why I'm down here, in my dark room, away from the rest of you. You being here is entirely voluntary on your part.

[He's visibly taken aback by that] What? No. No! Just lie down already.

[reapercussion]

You can't spend your whole life alone, Aidan. Besides, I'm pretty sure that if I didn't come check up on you, you'd start molding or whatever it is sad vampires do in the dark.

[You're so helpful, Sally. The most helpful.] Okay, God. I think it's okay to be appropriately suspicious here. [Just going to lie down anyway. Jerk.]

[fangbangs]

[Uh. Yes he can] You know the myth is that vampires can't go into the sun?

[Rolling his eyes] You don't think that if I was going to seduce you, I would have done that already? [Walking back over now and sitting on the edge of the bed. This is the worst idea. The worst.]

[reapercussion]

[Nope.] I've seen you in the sun. You haven't sparkled or turned to dust once in the time that I've known you.

[She rests her chin on her folded hands, trying to ignore that this is Aidan. And this is his bed. And they're on it. And he's about to touch her, which is way more thrilling than it should be.] I like to think I'm worth the wait.

[fangbangs]

[Driest tone.] The sunglasses aren't a fashion statement. The point is that being in a dark room isn't going to hurt me. Or make me grow mold.

[Her comment is entirely unnecessary, and he is going to ignore her] Let me know if I'm pressing too hard. [His hands hesitate briefly before he reaches out, starting with her shoulders. His fingers work into the muscle through the material of her shirt, slow and deep.]

[reapercussion]

The point is that I don't like it when you're hiding away from everyone. I - we - didn't come back so that we could just actively avoid each other.

[Sally makes a soft noise when his hands begin to work at her shoulders, taking a deep breath as she relaxes into his touch.] No, no, this is good. Great. God, you have no idea how much I've missed this kind of stuff.

[fangbangs]

I'm not avoiding you. If I was avoiding you, I wouldn't be here.

[His hands still for a second] Who was giving you massages before?

[reapercussion]

I- I didn't mean me. I meant, you know. Josh and Nora, too.

[She's quiet for a second.] Danny would. A couple of boyfriends before that.

[fangbangs]

[His tone turns a little dry] I think it's probably safer for everyone involved if I do avoid Nora right now.

[His hands get back to work. That definitely isn't where he meant to go with this conversation.] Well you haven't had a massage until you get one from a vampire. I'll do my best not to snap you in half. [His hands slide inwards and upwards, touching the bare skin of her neck]

[reapercussion]

Oh. Right. [Yeeeaaah. This is a great conversation.] Okay, scratch that. At least try to not avoid your best friend. You know that guy who spent over a year searching for you?

[Regardless of the topic, though, she remains relaxed.] Yeah, thanks, Aidan. Like that's something I really need to worry about. [She breathes out softly, pressing her face into the mattress.] Which I'm not worried about, by the way. Dancing, remember? Pretty sure you're not going to snap me in half.

[fangbangs]

[He's know Josh for a while now, but he's still kind of...bewildered by that. Grateful, but bewildered. ] They're kind of a package deal right now?

[He can hear they way she breathes out, feels the way her body relaxes under his touch. And beyond that, her heartbeat thrums under his fingertips. He closes his eyes for a moment, sucking in a breath and letting it go, slowly. She offered - but it wouldn't work]

What? [His eyes nap open] Uh, dancing. Right. Thanks for the vote of confidence? [His hands slide down, working her upper back and shoulder blades]

[reapercussion]

[Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.] You're going to have to figure something out then.

Anytime you need it, Aidan. [She's quiet for a moment, just soaking in the feel of his hands working over her body.] Hey, are you okay? [She turns her head so that her cheek is resting on her hands. She can't quite see him entirely, but his outline is in the corner of her eye.]

[fangbangs]

[He kind wants to protest that it wasn't exactly his fault, so why does he have to be the one to figure things out? But he can figure that that won't exactly go over well.

Thump-thump. Thump-thump. Thump-thump. His fingers find a knot and he digs in a little harder] Yeah, I'm fine. Great. How, uh, how are you?

[reapercussion]

Ahh. [Yeah, that's good. That's the spot. She arches into the touch a little bit before forcing herself to remain calm again. Because this is Aidan, and he's a friend, and wow, way to be creepy, Sally.]

I am fantastic right now. You've got a gift.

[fangbangs]

[That...was definitely not a sound of pain. Aidan squeezes his eyes shut again, trying to think of - well, anything else. At all. His hands don't let up though, even as she arches into his touch.

And his voice maybe drops a little when he speaks again] Fantastic, huh? [No Aidan, bad Aidan, stop Aidan. Except he doesn't stop, hands working down to her mid back]

[reapercussion]

[That's a definite drop in tone on his end. Definite drop. Her eyes widen slightly, but she can't help the grin that takes over her face.

She's playing with fire, and she damn well know sit. But despite Aidan's faults, she... trusts him. At least with her, she trusts him. She licks her lips.] Actually. It could be better. [Cue one Sally Malik shimmying out of her shirt.]

[fangbangs]

[That grin...worries him. And it should, because a few seconds later she's - taking off her shirt?

He looks away] Sally, what - uh, what're you doing?

[reapercussion]

[Let's be real. Everything about Sally should worry people. She's a force to be reckoned with.]

Taking my shirt off?

[fangbangs]

Why? [????]

[reapercussion]

So that you can do a better job of working out my kinks? [Uh, duh.]

[fangbangs]

[He just barely manages to avoid making a pained sound] Fine. Just - don't complain that I have cold hands, or something.

[reapercussion]

[She turns to give him the full force of her grin, only barely managing to suppress the wiggle of excitement.] Noooo problem. Seriously. You won't hear a word from me.
