1. proposal {
1. park - you've been planning this proposal for awhile and have taken your sweetheart to a nice secluded area in the park. are they going to say yes or leave you in the dust?

2. house - dimmed lights, candles, home made dinner. it's obvious you've fixed yourself up for something tonight. let's see if your lover catches on before the question is popped.

3. public event - perhaps you're one who wants to gain a lot of attention; maybe your significant other doesn't as much. either way, this goes from writing their message in the sky with an airplane to something like a flash mob ensemble with others involved.

4. restaurant - nothing romantic like taking them out somewhere ritzy and hiding the rings in that glass of expensive wine.

5. car - you've driven them somewhere nostalgic or meaningful either to you or each other, or perhaps just a good view overlooking the city cause maybe you had no other idea how to do it or couldn't afford anything else.

2. marriage {
1. traditional - both parties have agreed and said yes, and everything goes well just like in the fairy tales you've always dreamed of.

2. arranged - you had no say so in this but somebody else like your parents did. you've never seen this person before until you walk down the aisle. what are your thoughts? are you nervous? what if you two don't get along? looks like you have to deal with it either way. enjoy?

3. elope - nothing fancy. you know, they do make drive thru chapels or perhaps you're just going to experience the excitement of meeting up at the court. all and all, it doesn't matter, just so you have your sweetheart to yourself.

4. shotgun - congrats, somebody is pregnant. there's only one more thing left to do now..

5. disaster - looks like somebody forgot the rings! never mind the fact the maid of honor is having a wardrobe malfunction or that soon to be father in law is causing a scene of some sort.

3. after marriage {
1. honeymoon night - self explanatory! come on, you know what this means. it just wouldn't be the same without this option.

2. new addition - it could be a pregnancy or bringing home a new child, or something as simple as a new pet goldfish.

3. house purchase - after months of living in a trashy apartment, you're both about to sign the dotted line and move into your new place.

4. argument - deep, relationship sort of arguments or something petty like who drank all the milk; it's up to you!

5. divorce - somebody has had enough of this and is ready to move on. how will it all go down?

"Head....head hurts," he managed to get out, feeling like he was going to pass out.

"I...let me get you something." He squeezed Dean's arm before standing, trying to remember if they had anything for headaches in the bathroom.

God he felt like he was going to be sick. "Do we have any Vicodin left from when I broke my foot last year?" Vicodin might help, advil wouldn't put a dent in this.

"Umm yeah I think you only took a few..." He trailed off and looked down at Dean. "Wait...Dean look at me." He dropped back down, grasping the sides of his face. "That didn't happen to you. That...how did you remember that?"

"I don't.....I don't know..." admitted, looking a little scared but he didn't pull away from Sam. He had two realities warring in his brain and it just made everything hurt.

He stared into Dean's eyes, chewing on his lip. "It'll be ok. I promised I wouldn't just let you forget. You...remember. You were hunting witches. With your brother, with the other me." He brushed his thumb against Dean's jaw gently.

"I know...I know," he took a few deep breathes. "It's just fuzzy and when I try to think about it too hard it hurts."

"So don't. Don't try too hard. Don't hurt yourself." He let go of Dean, looking towards the bedroom. "Just...try to relax and I'll get something for your head." He stood, running into the bedroom and then the bathroom. He tugged open the medicine cabinet, rifling through the bottles until he found the vicodin. He poured two out before heading back out and grabbing a bottle of water.

"Here. Take these." He sat next to Dean, dropping the pills into his hand and pushing the bottle of water at him.

"Thanks bab-Sam! Thanks Sam," he filched, downing the two pills dry. "I mean I've got 34....well 74 technically, years of memories. Things can get fuzzy."

He blushed slightly, rubbing Dean's arms. "I know and...I'm sorry. I wish I could do more to help." He sat on the couch, turning and pulling the bottle of whiskey out of the basket.

Dean reached out and grabbed the bottle, taking a swig. "This is his body too, your deans. No scars, no burnt hand print on my arm...it's weird."

He watched Dean take a swig before pulling the bottle away from him, taking one himself. "You had a hand print burned on your arm? How in the hell did you do that?"

"Exactly," dean chuckled. "Sold my soul, went to hell, got pulled out by an angel...you know the usual."

His eyes widened and he stared for a moment, taking another swig before handing the bottle back. "You...well, /my/ Dean never did anything like that. He's reckless though. He's the guy that loves doing stupid stuff because its funny." He smiled, shaking his head. "One time when we were on vacation he just had to do this dumb stunt off the pool diving board." He rolled his eyes, laughing as he remembered. "Ended up with his arm in a sling and a broken nose. I think the hotel banned us..."

Dean shook his head, not sure how to feel about that. "Yeah got hurt a lot too....died a bunch of times. Been to heaven, hell, purgatory...hell was the worst. Worth it though, sold my soul to save you."

"You sold your soul to save me? What happened?" He was shocked to hear that Dean, this Dean, had died and been through so much. Suddenly a thought came to him and his eyes widened. "Wait...what if..." He trailed off before speaking again. "What if the same thing is happening in your world? I can't believe I didn't think about this before. What if MY Dean is stuck there? What if he's remembering that life instead of this one?"

"I don't know," he weakly shrugged, averting his eyes. "I don't know if I'm in his head and hes why im remembering this life, if we switched...souls or something, if she altered things and this is reality....if I'm in a warehouse dying in my world, I don't know.". He shook his head, letting out a deep breathe. "I think if he was in my would Sam and our friend Bobby would have fixed it by now."

He nodded, shifting slightly before taking a much longer drink from the whiskey bottle. He sat the bottle down before getting up and grabbing the basket. "I'm gonna put this stuff up." He pulled a blanket their mother had made over the top of the basket, hiding the contents.

"So what'd mom give us?" he asked as he leaned back on the couch, waiting for the pills to kick in.

He froze, staring down at the blanket. "Umm, she made us a blanket for the bed. And..." He clenched his jaw for a moment. "She made a photo album too. Oh and she got us the laundry basket." He tapped his fingers on it before picking it up quickly. He wasn't about to let Dean see the paperwork Mary had stuffed in there. Apparently his Dean had been talking to their mom about some stuff and Mary had printed off information on adoption.

He really didn't think this Dean would be able to handle that. "Not much else..."

"Oh...." he smiled despite the pain. "That's real sweet of her. So we're close...that's good. And you and Dad? Always at each others throats or did that get better too?"

"Yeah. We normally have dinner over there once a week or so. Umm me and dad used to fight a lot before I went to college. He wanted me to be a mechanic like the two of you. Once I actually went to Stanford and he saw how happy I was he dropped it." He took the blanket out carefully, shoving the paperwork back down into the bottom of the basket before tossing it at Dean. "She wished you could have come to pick up this stuff. I told her you were still hungover from last night." He paused, grabbing the whiskey and taking another swig before heading into the bedroom.

"And their happy," dean meant it as a question but he could see it, remember them together. "And you're happy....I'm....I'm real glad you're happy Sam, you deserve it."

"So do you, Dean." He called over his shoulder. Once in the bedroom he sat the basket down, pulling out the photo album. The cover was a picture of Sam and Dean when they were kids sitting in a hammock together while Sam read to Dean. It had been one of his favorite things to do as a kid. He pulled out the adoption information too, looking at it before walking to the dresser and putting it face down on top.

"I don't know about that..." he mumbled, following after Sam do he could lay down for a bit. He paused when he saw the photo album, expression going from confused to happy. "God mom was a ninja with the camera."
