THE FIGHT MEME
What else needs to be said? Release your inner warrior and partake in some epic (or hilariously bad) battles! Do you use a sword? Are you a martial arts master? Are you a wizard? Can you even fight?
It doesn't matter if you're just having a friendly spar or deciding the fate of the universe. You're suddenly filled with the urge to fight the next person you meet. Cut loose and show off your skills!
RULES
◘ Post with your character! List your fighting preferences if you'd like (Sparring, Death Battles, Anything Goes, etc.)
◘ Reply to someone else
◘ ROUND 1...
◘ ... FIGHT!
Here are some prompts to pick from (or RNG from):
1: VERBAL
Not all fights are physical. Maybe you're just really mad and really loud.
2: WUSSY
This is possibly the dumbest limp-wristed flail fight you've ever been involved in.
3: WITS
Because why would you beat someone into the ground when you can humiliate them with your massive intellect instead?
4: PRIZEFIGHT
There's an audience to watch and a prize at stake that only one of you can walk away with. Best bring your A-game.
5: SPARRING
You're fighting to improve. Whether you know your partner or whether you've
just met, you can be pretty sure you're walking away from this one.
6: GRUDGE MATCH
Your hated rival is in town. It's time for a rematch.
7: BAR FIGHT
Welcome to the mother of all drunken brawls.
8: YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS!
Maybe your opponent is your friend/sibling/love/other cherished person. Maybe
you're a pacifist. Either way, you're in this fight, but you really
don't want to be.
9: TO THE DEATH
This is it. Too much has happened for this to be anything but a fight to the end. Only one of you is walking away from this.
10: OBLIGATORY SMUT OPTION
Hate sex is the best. And some people like smut and some do not.
11: AGAINST THE HORDE
It's you and your ally against many. Demons, zombies, whatever. Rip and tear, until it is done.
12: GODMODE
You and your opponent both have world-breaking superpowers, and frankly everyone would be happier if you weren't fighting. You are, though, and it's awesome, even if there might not be much left when you're done.
13: RANDOM
Your very own personalized scenario.

PvE in an RE setting to make things easier!
Julian ejected the clip from the 9mm pistol and found it to be full before sliding it back in. He clicked the safety on, unsure why he'd even need such a weapon on the streets of... where was he? It was dark, probably late evening, but he was surprised by the sheer lack of life on the streets. As a matter of fact, the buildings and vehicles nearby seemed to be abandoned. Was this some kind of dystopian timeline?
Movement caught his eye and he saw several people standing across the street, some were swaying slightly on their feet, in front of the shattered window of a building. They looked rather unwell... That was his professional medical opinion. He started to approach until his eyes adjusted to the dim light and noticed they had bare bone and muscle tissue exposed and surrounded by necrotic tissue. These people looked like corpses.
His enhanced hearing picked up the sound of movement behind him; someone trying to be quiet as they moved through the building beside him. Julian raised the gun, finger off the trigger, rested on the guard, because trigger control was important, he thumbed the safety off but held the gun close to his chest, aimed upward. He opened the door beside him and tried to quietly but deliberately catch the attention of the woman passing by. What he hadn't seen was the BOW clinging to the side of the building a few floors above him with an exposed brain and long tongue...]
!!! fine by me, i love bashir! c:
Usually, America isn't the target of bioweapon attacks. It's rare, but not entirely unheard of. After Harvardville incident, Tall Oaks, then the attack on New York City... well, it's common enough that she isn't always traveling across borders in order to fight the good fight. Rarely was it as high profile as New York, though. People tended to stick away from the larger cities unless they had something to prove or were looking for money; most bioterrorists that weren't big corporations were either looking for guinea pigs or for some kind of attention for a cause. Anywhere could do in that situation.
She moves with purpose albeit slower than she'd like in order to cause less noise. Both zombies and Lickers were attracted to noise above all else and while bringing the fight to her didn't seem like too bad an idea, she hasn't scoped enough of the city to form a solid opinion on number of infected, escaped, or remaining human population. To her, it seemed like plenty had made their way out before the barricades got put up, but with her luck there would be people hidden away somewhere. The goal was to take care of the BOWs first and look for the source of the infection first, but it was taking time with how she'd had to travel with care and fight along the way.
Jill catches the man before the creature, quick to put her gun on anyone but without a trigger finger. From the aim it would go straight between his eyes, but she's quick to lower her gun a few degrees in favor of taking control of the situation and questioning him. She's sure she's faster anyway if it boils down to it. ]
BSAA! Do you need help?
[ She doesn't holster the weapon, but she steps over a pile of discarded trash to come closer, just enough that she can see him better and assess the situation (and tell if she's welcome or not). There's a pause when she hears the sound of something; it's hard to describe since it's not nails on the floorboards. It's more subtle than that and coming from further away. Still enough to have her on alert in an outbreak -- what doesn't have her that way, anyway? -- and slowly inch closer. The low rumble of a warning growl has her finally pinpoint the creature and though she aims upward, she doesn't shoot quite yet. It's close enough that the tongue could eviscerate the man from here and she doesn't want to chance it.
Her voice comes low and she lifts her head, gently tossing it back in suggestion to get behind her. ]
I think you should come over here.
[ There's a grit to her teeth, making it clear this is more than a suggestion and for a reason. The Licker menaces above, but makes no motion to move in any direction as if it thinks it's camouflaged by the brick. She'll rely on its blindness to get them through. ]
Wonderful! These are two of my favourite canons!
I don't--
[He started, confused, but abruptly stopped when she stepped closer and seemed to catch sight of something. He followed her gaze up and his breath caught in his chest. Even in the dim light, he could see that the creature's musculature was entirely exposed. It's exposed brain was enlarged, covering what would normally be the area where most mammals would have eyes. It was blind. He didn't see any other notable eyes or motion-sensing organs. All Bashir could conclude for certain was that this creature knew only pain in its existence with that much raw tissue exposed to the elements.
The movement of her head catches Julian's attention and brings his gaze back to her, wide-eyed as it was. He'd obviously never seen anything like this before. She spoke low and quiet and he nodded, taking her suggestion without hesitation. He moved slowly and quietly, stepping over the clutter, moving behind her.
They weren't making enough noise to draw it to attack just yet, but they'd made enough to make it curious. It started slowly clambering down the side of the building, head twisting this way and that, trying to sense something.]
What is that thing?
[Julian whispered, keeping slightly to the side of her in case she needed to turn and run to put distance between them and the creature.]
sorry about the speed; busy weekend! i'm a bit more reliable now.
On the bright side, she wasn't at him with her knife. Most people don't expect her to have an expertise in using one.
Jill's voice remains steady and calm despite the situation, but there's a tremor that hits the edges and suggests clearly she's not kidding and it's a more serious situation than it might seem. If they're careful, they can edge into a building, but she's sure the Licker has its sights (so to speak) on them already. It might have more trouble locating them or getting inside and that would be a plus. It would give her time to explain things better before fighting, but knowing these things it could be inevitable that the fight comes to them before anything else.
She's sure their whispers can be heard, if only the faintest vibrations. Thankfully the city is still busy and bustling enough with its natural sounds that there are other things to be distracted by. Not far off, there's a bit of a fire spread and that offers a natural buffer, but it still would be better if they keep moving. As long as they keep their footfall light and with excess care, they might be able to escape without a hitch. ]
The code name they were given is Licker. [ She says low and quick, but not so fast it spills out in a way that's impossible to understand. There's a faint chuckle attached to it. ] A little on the nose, I know.
[ If he hasn't caught it yet, the Licker makes a point of poking its tongue out farther, swiping at the air as if to taste it. Long, but not as long as it can truly stretch. ]
We're going to back-up the way I came. Pretty sure the building is unlocked. We can lay low a bit for there. [ And she can fill him in, at least as much as she is allowed to. She nudges him lightly with an elbow while they stand close and offers him a hand, clad in fingerless gloves. ] Jill Valentine, BSAA. If it attacks keep heading the way I came from; I'll handle it. They're blind and operate on sound, so keep verbal communication to a minimum.
[ It's alert now, honing in on their location. While it doesn't charge forward, the Licker still seems to be fixated on the area they're in, not swinging its head too far away from them as it claws its way to their level. Jill's distracted meanwhile, looking at her feet and eventually, swiping up a rock in her hand. She tosses it once in her hand as if she's getting a feel for it. Throw it too far and it won't register as worth going after, too close and it won't buy them any time. She goes to throw it like a skipping stone, making sure it skids and makes extra noise -- give or take fifteen, twenty feet away. It doesn't give them a ton of space, but Jill's quick to take her new comrade's arm in her own and give him a pull back toward the way she headed, once again avoiding the pile of trash with a bit of a jump. ]
No worries! It happens!
The codename given to the creature made sense when its tongue swept through the air with far to much ease. It appeared prehensile and he had a feeling that wasn't nearly its full length. He wasn't keen on testing that theory.]
Just a bit. [He agreed in a soft whisper, nodding again when she said they were going back the way she came. He took the offered hand, finally meeting her eyes again. Until then his gaze had been keenly darting to every little sound he heard, then back to the Licker as it seemed the most prominent threat.] Doctor Julian Bashir. I'm afraid I've not heard of the BSAA before. [Right. Keep verbal communication to a minimum. Julian's great at keeping quiet...
He watches her scoop up, test the weight, and examine the stone. They're blind but they hunt via sound. He already knew what she planned, so he was ready. When the stone hit the ground for the first skip, the powerful monster that had been clinging to the side of the building zeroed in on it with deadly precision. It flung itself from the building to the ground and leapt after the skittering stone with a force that chipped the pavement under its claws. Julian thought he was ready, but that display of sheer ferocity was something that left one somewhat stunned. Jill's arm pulling him back was what kicked him into gear, turning and moving with her.
Behind them, he could hear the Licker lashing out and swiping around for whatever had made the sound. Something caught Julian's attention pretty quickly after that. With the commotion made by the first, he could hear several other sets of claws skittering across walls.] There's two more. [He hissed just loudly enough to carry to Jill's ears but hopefully not much farther.
The one outside was distracted. It had moved onto the nearby zombies also attracted by the sound, swatting them aside. One of the other Lickers had been clambering along the outside of the building found a shattered window and was slinking along the ceiling with its tongue lolled out. The third was still crawling over an outside wall. Something stumbled over the pile of trash Julian and Jill had evaded. One of the zombies from outside had wandered in and carelessly puttered into it. The Licker that had been hanging out on the ceiling was on the corpse with alarming speed, making Julian jump as it tore past the pair, just over their heads. When it had deemed that the rotting mass under its feet wasn't exactly the prey it was looking for, it left the mauled zombie be. The sooner these things were very far behind them, the happier the doctor would be, so he is obediently following Jill's lead without hesitation.
Once Jill had them clear, for the moment, deeper within the building, Julian let out a slow breath to steady himself. He carefully closed a door behind them and leaned a chair against it, not that he really thought it would help with the power those things displayed.]
Where the hell did they come from? Their skeletal structure and musculature seem almost human. Or, an approximation of what used to be human. Are they all over this city? [He may be a doctor, but he obviously wasn't one of Umbrella's.]

Which is how Zack ends up stepping into the cage, barefoot and stripped down to the waist, throwing a few light punches at the air. He barely even pays attention to his opponent entering the cage a few minutes later, only turning around once the door to the cage is shut.]
Hey, man. I'll try to make this quick, okay?
[He flashes a grin, throwing a quick two-fingered salute, in a way that might look almost sarcastic if he wasn't so puppyishly cheerful.]
