Look, you all know how this works, you've got your sexy new-age vampires, your monstrous old-world vampires, and all kinds between. And of course you've also got your hunters and you've got your humans and sometimes they're both at once, fuckit, throw some werewolves in there too, go wild!

This is the place to do the thing. No complicated rules about predator and prey, sire and fledge or what kind of victim you're going to be, no numbers, this is 100% DIY baybee. Obviously it does help a little if you put some information in your top level regarding what you're looking for, but whatever you guys, I'm not the cops ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's probably unusual to get a handwritten, wax-sealed invitation to come to a cemetery, (that would be spooky, probably, if not for the fact that there's a yoga class being held in the elementary school gym opposite, casting a warm glow on the quiet tombs), signed by a self-admitted vampire. And certainly there are rules in the Camarilla about this kind of thing. Centuries-ago attempted genocide trauma runs deep, and is remembered well. Calling vampire hunters to attack other vampires, even ones who are sect-oppositional, is a serious crime in most places.

But this is not about furthering violence, ideally. Not even against the 'right' kind of people. Ouija Roman is about de-escalation, most of the time. They sit on a memorial bench, patiently, watching evening joggers and dogwalkers go past. The invention of electric lighting has helped humans so much, no one retreats indoors at sundown anymore, people are much more accepting of those who make the night their own.

[It's not that he gets into fights on purpose. Really it's not. But when he sees something, sees someone who needs help, he can't ignore it.

Yes, he knows it's stupid. He's all of 5'4" and could probably be blown over in a strong enough wind, but when someone needs help, they need help.

So he's walking home from hanging out with Sam when he hears a soft cry from an alley next to a bar, and he stops in his tracks. He listens for a moment, because noises next to bars could be... several different things, but it only takes a moment before he hears the voice say "No... stop... please!" and he's running in before he can even really think about the situation.

Yeah, it's dark. Yeah, it's a poorly lit alley. But someone is calling for help, and he can't walk by and ignore it.

(He probably could've gotten the bouncer. But there isn't time for that. Probably.)

Behind the foul-smelling dumpsters is a young woman who's shoving at a large meathead of a guy. Steve ignores the smell and grabs at the back of the guy's jacket.]

Hey! You heard her! Let her go!

[The guy swings around, a mean look on his face, and grabs Steve right back.

"Stay out if it, shrimpy."

Oof. This was going to hurt. Steve took a deep breath and shouted,]

Help! We need some help in here!

[and then swung the best punch he could manage right at the guy's nose. There was definitely a crunch, but whether that was the guy's nose or Steve's fist was uncertain. The guy roared, and shoved away from the girl to push Steve hard enough to unbalance him and send him to the ground.

The girl had the sense to run. Steve, unfortunately, was not in a position to be able to do the same. He scrambled back, once he'd gotten over the shock of landing on his ass, but not quickly enough to avoid the large boot of the guy connecting with his side hard enough to get him curling into a ball of pain.]
