	DICTAS HIGH PRIESTESS AND PROPHETESS
✕ world info	A brief blurb can be found in her journal, but tl;dr. Born to two ordinary gatherers, it was never written in any stars that Dictas would become High Priestess of her people, the centaurs living in the Lands, except those stars in which it was definitely written. Dictas began experiencing prophetic visions as a young female, mostly able to sense where to find the best food and resting places, but was accepted into the temple based on this, training with the other young priestesses. As soon as she began learning how to navigate the Dance Boards, stone tables with a symbolic language carved into them on which the priestesses would dance to make their prophesies, it became evident that she was extremely gifted and could interpret the symbols accurately and easily. Soon, she'd gain a reputation as the best prophetess among the priestesses and her people would come to her specifically to seek advice. This reputation eventually reached the ears of the long-reigning High Priest, Borus, who had just lost his first High Priestess in a tragic accident and he decided to invite Dictas to become the next High Priestess, an offer she accepted after some consideration.

Friends, enemies (in her universe, centaurs are at war against humans), people to have interesting discussions and talks with... Female characters as potential romantic partners. ✕ world info	Ouija is a Setite from Vampire: The Masquerade, the tabletop roleplaying game about personal horror and satirical dystopia, where awful things happen and it's basically like our world, because good things also happen, but the awful things feel so much more frequent and important. VtM is most famous for having a thousand books worth of lore and very little actual working dice mechanics or "game" aspect. Vampire (the series) is ideal to play from, because you will literally never run out of canon specific lexicon to use, and ideas to fix because the writers were edgy, and that's just in the VtM branch of the World of Darkness. If you really get ambitious you can cross it over with other things but I'm also happy with vanilla vampies. Don't let me call them vampies ever again btw. Ouija themself is based out of a WoD flavored Las Vegas, which is secretly heaving with vampires and other supernatural entities. I drew maps and everything. You don't have to look at my maps.
✕ looking for	Other WoD characters (nonhostile relations with hunters and werewolves is doable and preferable to the alternative, I don't do combat scenes much.) Other supernaturals / cross canon stuff with canons that mesh well with this one I could do smut. The writers pretend Kindred don't fuck or enjoy fucking or something, but they fuck. They fuck like Gomez and Morticia. Why use only a few words when a million words will do?

✕ world info	In the late 19th century, Evangeline Nix had a promising-- if eccentric future--ahead of her as part of the push to quantify the unknown with the modern science of the time. Trained as a doctor and well-versed in folklore and para-science, she was put to evaluating cases of supernatural occurrences from a purely scientific standpoint. Which was all well and good when it came to things like studying the neurology of psychic mediums or evaluating "exorcism" patients but she wanted more. So with her colleagues she went out into the dark, aiming to study the pathology of the folkloric vampire. Because it is the lot of the antiquarian protagonist to "fuck around and find out" with forces beyond her understanding, you can imagine what became of her, though her full transformation didn't come until a particularly wretched night as a frontline nurse during the first World War. Now she's mostly an archivist looking after the library of the Society for the Study of the Paranatural, Occult and Crypto-Scientific, a vast resource for those intrested in such subjects. The further back in time we are, the less overtly vampire-like he is so if you just want an antiquarian/weird fiction adventure with very little of the fantasy/vampire element in it, it's possible.

Colleagues, rivals, study subjects, patrons of her library Some nice historical setting threads: I like to play her most pre-WWII, I get the feeling she took a long nap for much of the middle of the 20th century. I'd really love to have her in a WWI setting, as it was a major turning point in her life. ADVENTURE! Someone lure her out of her library and back into the field, she's getting dusty and brittle. Platonic affection, chaste romance and smut are all welcome but she can be very shy and her heart is very bruised. But I would like her to be less lonely. She likes both men and women.

✕ world info	Cora here is from a mysterious (and seemingly perfect)town called Ashvale in California where the woods are inhabited by faeries(both benevolent and malevolent) and -- up until her last Halloween -- deadly sirens in the lake. A disastrous siren attack left her as the sole survivor to fight back and get revenge on said sirens, and now it has her questioning what else is real and what are mere stories. Personality wise, she's currently still social and Charming but with a questionable sense of self-preservation that'll undoubtedly get her into trouble. The kind of person to hide her emotions behind flirting and smiles, because it's a lot easier than acknowledging that she has emotions at all.
✕ looking for	Supernatural characters, magical characters. She's a Very Normal Human that needs to have more positive experiences with those. Or to pick a fight with! I'm not picky. She's modern day, so really I can fit her anywhere as long as it's doable. Friends! Enemies. She's a mean girl with a secret heart of gold, she needs people to clash with or to protect. Lots of crazy, dangerous adventures to rush into. Cora is also bisexual, no real preference for gender. Someone for her to catch feelings for would be great, actually. ✕ world info	Vampire: The Masquerade. Or, what happens when the goth kids from South Park make a TTRPG. (Personal rule of thumb is, if it's distressing it doesn't exist anymore. Don't like the lore they have that's canon? Rewrite it! Put it in the trash! Follow your bliss! What are they gonna do, call the cops on us? They'll never catch us, it's a perfect crime.) The general gist is that vampires are real and have a lot of political structure in place amongst themselves to keep their existence secret. Each vampire is part of a clan they were sired into with different skillsets, so like a class you have to die to get levels in. They call themselves Kindred, because that's cooler than saying 'vampire' a hundred times every session. There's dots? Ignore the dots, the dots don't matter. Birdie is from a bloodline (like a clan but smaller) called the Daughters of Cacophony. Think 'vampire bard' with voice powers and a magical song stuck in her head forever. Former 60's folk singer, currently in over her head and stuck in Denver where she's more an accessory to the court there than an active participant in it. Sometimes members of her bloodline go insane and turn into banshees, which is pretty upsetting. Mostly she just wants good vibes, adoring fans to feed off of, and someone to appreciate her singing. Dark urban fantasy is also great if you're willing to have some vampiric complications or assistance. Look, I am more than happy to do threads that are nothing but a comedy of errors from start to finish. She's gonna unionize rats and sometimes somebody might have to help stick her in a hole in the ground before sunrise, this is fine. There's plenty of assholes in her backstory to choose from if you're so inclined.
