[ well, that's his clue that dean really is smashed. cas jerks in shock and freezes up completely. the only part of him that moves is his hand, to grip the front of dean's jacket. it's probably his reaction that gets the most heads turning. and they do get a few dirty looks (maybe dean wouldn't notice, but he is an angel, after all). but no one says anything. no one does anything.
neither does he. he pushes on dean's chest, trying to get him to stop. ]
[ He's surprisingly less smashed than Cas would think, tequila shots aside. He stops immediately when he's pushed away, though, pulling back, brow furrowed a little in confusion, because that was a big step for him and now..
That's not a great reaction. ]
Thought we were 'together', [ he snaps, fishing for his wallet to toss a considerable amount of cash down for the bottle, which he is taking with him, thank you very much. ]
We— [ his eyes dart from dean's hands retrieving his wallet to his face, that tone of voice curling something in his gut. he doesn't know what the right thing to do here is, and he can feel himself right on the cusp of something like panic. when he gets pushed into corners he tends to make bad choices. but he's always making bad choices anyway, so what difference does that make?
resigned to that truth, he fits his hand against the back of dean's neck and tries to kiss him. it isn't like dean's kiss. it's rather chaste, and a little stiff with awkwardness, but he still means it. ]
[ It's weird now, this feels weird, his feelings are a little hurt, and at this point Dean feels kinda like maybe people do care, like he's bullying Cas into something he doesn't want to do, propositioning him, something. Either way, he's now uncomfortable as sin, and he wants to leave.

Now. ]
No.
[ He leans back, batting Cas' hand down. ]
Take me home.
