The night descends, and you find yourself alone. Everything about the situation is horror movie code for "you're dead". There might be one way out... one person you can rely on to work your way out of the situation.

Of course, they might just be the person who wants to kill you.

r u l e s ;

1. abandoned area: Wherever you are, the place is rotting and dying in front of your eyes. Old steel rusts and cobwebs dangle from every surface. It smells like mould and dust, and it's so easy to believe there are ghosts and skeletons around every corner.

2. all hallows eve: A halloween party can be a fantastic evening of fun frights and too many drinks. Or it can be a disaster, where the horrors are far more authentic and the blood on your friends' costumes isn't from the costume shop.

3. always night: Why are you out in the dead of night? Don't you know that's when the boogeyman comes out? ... What do you mean it's midday... the sky couldn't be blacker.

4. the calls are coming from inside the house: If you're home, you can't be harmed, right? The alarm would have sounded if someone broke a window... So why are there footsteps and creepy breathing coming from the kitchen?

5. camp unsafe isn't safe anymore: So you decided to spend an innocent summer at camp... You should have chosen one with a less ominous name.

6. don't go in the woods: ... Seriously? Why would you go there?

7. hell hotel: Oh, no, I'm sure that run down hotel on a hill where there are rumours of disappearances is completely safe.

8.indian burial ground: Or any burial ground. Graveyards and their dead trees are the safest places to spend a cold, gloomy night.

9. new house new problems: So you've just moved into a lovely new house! Fantastic! But did they tell you about the murderer who just escaped from prison?

10. anything else: If there's something you really want to do -- kidnapping, torture, mad scientists in their laboratory -- use this option!

[Murdock had quickly come to the realisation that the 'blind man' schtick was not going to hold here. Simply put, there was too much constant danger to worry about maintaining the appearance of the helpless lawyer. It would not only get him hurt, it would get others around him hurt if they were trying to look after a man who potentially couldn't see. That didn't mean he broke out the Daredevil attire. He kept his walking stick and glasses, but it was more out of comfort to him.

This building was a new development. That had become the norm lately. Nothing was ever the same for very long. The smell of mould and rot were nauseating to his enhanced senses, taking more concentration than normal to tune them out. The whole building smelled of death. He could her scattered heartbeats all around, but only one was close. He made his way carefully down the decrepit hallway, testing floorboards for stability before putting his full weight on them. A frigid breeze swept through the hall, filling the room with the strong scent of ozone. The air almost seemed charged with an electrical current, but as soon as it brushed past, everything was back to smelling of decay. It made the hair on his neck and arms stand on end until it passed.

He grew closer to the slowed heartbeat he'd been tracking. The rhythm was indicative of unconsciousness. Matt tapped his cane against the doorframe to 'light' the room to his senses and knelt next to the unconscious woman. He rested a gentle hand on her shoulder, jostling her slightly.]

I hate waking you into this nightmare, but I think it's safer than being unconscious on the floor.

[Leave it to the studio to really go all-out with the Halloween decor. Ichiban really shouldn't be surprised. The production value on Featherman is second to none, so it only makes sense that if the talented designers and crew decided to put their heads together and really scare everyone's socks off...

Well, Ichiban and Yukari find themselves parked right outside of the end result: a haunted house set that's been painstakingly crafted by the Featherman team. He doesn't know what terrors await them inside, though the simulated fog and atmospheric green lighting he can spy from the entrance are promising.]
