THE (halloween) FIGHT MEME

What else needs to be said? Release your inner warrior and partake in some epic (or hilariously bad) battles! Do you use a sword? Are you a martial arts master? Are you a wizard? Can you even fight?

It doesn't matter if you're just having a friendly spar or deciding the fate of the universe. You're suddenly filled with the urge to fight the next person you meet. Cut loose and show off your skills!

Not all fights are physical. Maybe you're just really mad and really loud.

This is possibly the dumbest limp-wristed flail fight you've ever been involved in.

Because why would you beat someone into the ground when you can humiliate them with your massive intellect instead?

4: PRIZEFIGHT
There's an audience to watch and a prize at stake that only one of you can walk away with. Best bring your A-game.

5: SPARRING
You're fighting to improve. Whether you know your partner or whether you've
just met, you can be pretty sure you're walking away from this one.

6: GRUDGE MATCH
Your hated rival is in town. It's time for a rematch.

7: BAR FIGHT
Welcome to the mother of all drunken brawls.

8: YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS!
Maybe your opponent is your friend/sibling/love/other cherished person. Maybe
you're a pacifist. Either way, you're in this fight, but you really
don't want to be.

9: TO THE DEATH
This is it. Too much has happened for this to be anything but a fight to the end. Only one of you is walking away from this.

10: OBLIGATORY SMUT OPTION
Hate sex is the best. And some people like smut and some do not.

11: AGAINST THE HORDE
It's you and your ally against many. Demons, zombies, whatever. Rip and tear, until it is done.

12: GODMODE
You and your opponent both have world-breaking superpowers, and frankly everyone would be happier if you weren't fighting. You are, though, and it's awesome, even if there might not be much left when you're done.

[ It's the first time she's brought anyone back with her from the Nexus and one of the first people she's ever contracted to help with her work. It isn't that she doesn't know people; Jill had been a mercenary for close to four years and picked up names and friendships along the way, but a portion of them either became BSAA agents or weren't interested in the work period. She couldn't expect everyone to be as passionate about it as she was and in this case she imagined most of it was curiosity that took them to where they were. She'd brought things up and he'd brought up his own skill and experience, however different yet occasionally similar that it might be. To Jill, what he could do could really be a game-changer back home and that had brought her to bringing up a mission or three if he was potentially interested.

Naturally, after she brought up all the risks of mutation and what might happen if he were infected. Somehow, she suspects he can't be much like her but for very different reasons. Regardless, she still had him outfitted in the usual kevlar and khaki, both protective and not in some areas -- you couldn't cover everything when you were somewhere as warm as Columbia. It would swelter and creep up on you before you knew it with long-sleeves compressed to your arms. Jill doesn't opt for her usual three-quarter sleeve and instead has short sleeves that just barely curve her shoulders. The pack she wears while they trudge the jungle is enough to keep sweat on her back, between the fabric and what she carries. It gathers and pools at the small of her back, against the curve of it.

There's been no sign quite yet of the facility they're looking for, certain it's hidden in some kind of bunker that leads underground but there have been sounds and telltale claw marks grazing trees in a way that might suggest something like a bear if it wasn't so distinct and familiar to Jill. She's thinking Lickers. Likely a pack by the differentiating of claw marks she's seen and the gathering in some places in the muddy forestry below. She's betting on them being insurance rather than an accidental escape.

Jill lifts her AR for a moment and aims, briefly catching Ben's eyes then drawing her line of sight forward again when she hears something rustle in the brush beyond them. The greenery of the area bright and vivid. It's almost neonlike and distracting, but she thinks she sees blood on a tree trunk. ]

[Ben has taken trips outside the Nexus before, whether to help out a friend with problems in their own world or just for the sake of exploring. This isn't even the first where he was called on specifically to help fight monsters. He's good at killing. He's wearing strange clothes as he follows Jill, looking out for signs of hostiles about.

He listened to the risks of infection. Ben hopes that this isn't an issue that's relevant to him, that he's immune to mutation, but he's going to treat it like it is a danger anyway. It's safer to take a threat seriously than it is to get cocky. There's no anti-violence field. These creatures can and will try to kill him, and he'll pay them back in kind. Just as well. The Nexus provides little in the way of fights with stakes. Ben feels strange in gear from Jill's world, but it's for his protection. He notices the marks.]

Claw marks. Guessing that's nothing good.

[He smells the blood before he sees it. There's definitely the sense that they're being tracked - but there's something off about the energy he senses. He's grateful for his blaster and his lightsaber now, hoping they'll give the lurking creature some pause.]

[Prefer sparring, team up, or rivalry type stuff. He doesn't kill, though, so if it's to the death and he wins, it'll have to be by knockout on his end.]
