The runaway has returned.

Loki disappeared more than a week ago, vanished from his room with a few of his favorite volumes, his horse, and a collection of supplies. It came on the heels of quarrels between parents and child, between brother and brother.

Loki has been found, now, but he is not yet happy. His return to the palace was a reluctant one. And it was Frigga who set Loki in the same bed as Thor -- they have not slept together since they were small, but she worried that Loki would run when he awakened from the spelled sleep she placed on him, a slumber of peace to ease his heart as well as his mind. Thor would never let Loki go. He would always keep his brother safe.

So here Loki is, nestled against Thor, his visage eased in sleep. Or perhaps eased by the presence of Thor.

He may awaken soon.
