[ A good twenty minutes in which Severide has finished his beer and turned on the TV. At least there's a game on. Other than that, he hasn't moved.

He's not sure he wants to look at those choices too closely. He and Casey's reached some sort of truce, they're back to being friends, yeah, but — still. ]

[Public Transportation had it's occasional hiccups. Sometimes it was just crowded, or uncomfortable. In this case, it wasn't crowded, but John Watson hadn't expected to miss his stop because of a sleeping co-passenger. He just didn't have the heart to wake the lovely young woman up after all, she seemed to be so clearly exhausted.]

[ Eve really should have called herself a cab — she'd known she should have as soon as she'd sat down and her exhaustion had hit her like a brick wall. That's what one gets for staying up 26 hours to help coordinate the resolution of a hostage situation involving a foreign diplomat with far too much classified information at his disposal.

Falling asleep in the tube isn't only stupid, it's also against training and when she does wake up, it's with a start, hand going for a weapon that she doesn't carry anymore. It only takes her a moment to focus and figure out where she is, but that moment could have been a moment too long if it had been someone else whose shoulder she'd been using - unwittingly - as a pillow. ]

Still, I'm sorry. [ She spares a glance at the paper and smiles a little because at least that 'odd foreign situation' has been resolved and she can get home and get some proper sleep. Though she already feels a little better for having had this nap. ]
