You're a strong person, perhaps physically, perhaps mentally, perhaps both. You're brave. A steel rod of a backbone means you face your enemies with little hesitation, doing the job no one else wants to do. That kind of intestinal fortitude is commendable. You have a purpose. You have a mission. There is something about you that people want.

And you have a weakness.

Maybe nobody knows it or maybe everyone knows it, but your weakness is the person you're in love with. Yes, in love. Someone like you can be in love, whether you've admitted it to yourself or not...or to them. More than anything, you want to be with them and keep them safe from harm. Sometimes, you just can't. It's more dangerous around you than with you.

Whether you're together or not, you should hope that no one with an axe to grind with you knows that this person is your blind spot...

Molly knew this fight would be dangerous. Final fights always were after all. But he wasn't planning on being the full focus of an arch-mage. He has no idea why Trent would turn his full focus on Molly, but here he is swords out as the mage tossed spell after spell at him.

Molly is already bleeding from various scars, but he draws Summer's Dance along his arm and snarls in Infernal as he attempts to take the man down. But the mage is faster and Molly feels himself both getting hit and tangled in something he cannot see. He snarls and fights but he is getting pulled towards danger and unable to free himself as Trent yells. "BREN, DO YOU SEE NOW?"

Open to canon, crosscanon, crossmedium, etc. Sui is canonically only into men so m/m only for shipping but very OTA for gen. Since Sui is a 10,000-year-old fox demon in the body of a 28-year-old human, all characters must also be 21+ for shipping though younger characters are welcome to have one-sided crushes. Available in fox or human form. Just let me know which you prefer.

Sui might physically be the weakness even if he's never going to be super happy about it. I'm good with playing this from lighthearted to darker. I'm also cool with playing this with a gen spin and having Sui have a weakness outside of physical combat. He'll sacrifice things for other people. )

Open to canon, crosscanon, crossmedium, etc. Ash is canonically bisexual so while shipping is difficult without assuming CR, M/F and M/M are both welcome though I request they be 16+ with no upper age limit. More than likely the one to have a weakness. Good for lighthearted or darker prompts. Tbh, you can be a stranger and he'll still find a weakness in protecting you even if he pretends to be a meanie. I'm good with a gen spin as well. )

Heero Yuy, the generally solitary perfect solider, a man who had wanted to leave behind his life as a soldier and do.... anything else, had come back. Why? For other's it didn't make sense. He was playing bodyguard to the former Queen Relena and could continue doing so with very little incident. So, why become a preventer? The answer for him was simple: it enabled him to continue to be with his old partner Duo Maxwell.

Their relationship had not always been so easy, Duo having shot him before and all, but Heero had always felt a deeper connection with the self-proclaimed God of Death and it wasn't just because they both had scars, physical and psychological both. It was something all the pilots shared but he never felt close to Trowa or Quatre and especially not WuFei the way he had felt about Duo. There was a love there, not that he was very good at that particular emotion, but the one thing that stuck with him from his "father" was to always live by his emotions, so he had chosen to become a preventer.

At the end of the day, no matter how much it could annoy and proplex him, he could never really deny Duo much of anything.
