JEALOUSY

Everyone feels jealous at one point or another, whether it's justified or not. What's important is how we deal with it... do we discuss it, fight about it, or plan epic revenge to carry out?

1 → wandering eye.

You think your lover has been looking at other's a little too often or flirting too much in your company. You can't keep quiet any longer about it.

 

2 → simple life

Your friend, family, or lover has always had it so much easier and you can't help but feel a little put off.

 

3 → don't you forget about me

Your friend or lover has found someone new they want to spend almost all their time with and you can't help but feel a little cheated.

 

4 → cheated

Forget just a sneaking suspicion. You've caught your lover in the act of cheating and it's driving you nuts. You have to confront them about it.

 

5 → for the glory

You did all the work, or at least you feel like you did, so why do they always get all the praise?

 

6 → moved on

You broke up or had a falling out with someone close to you and it's killing you to see how they've seemed to let go and you're stuck standing in place.

 

7 → because i want you

You're jealous of any attention they get because you're secretly in love with them. Time to make it known!

 

8 → always the favorite

Everyone always praises them or they were clearly the favorite child or just more popular with friends. You can't help but hate it.

 

9 → more experience

they're more experienced, either in the bedroom or in the office. Any activity, they outshine you. Who wouldn't feel a little inferior?

[ definitely the one jealous here. in terms of prompts, i'm very much most interested in 3 or 7 for any sort of intimate relationships. other than that, i also really like 8 for either mion or satoko for obvious canon reasons. ]

[ Shion is... difficult for Kanji to be around, especially alone. Which isn't to say that he dislikes Shion - it's the opposite, actually. If he felt able to act naturally around Mion, who occupied a similar space as him, and who he could communicate naturally with, Shion was... Well, Shion was the kind of girl who had made fun of him previously. She was clearly well-liked, as pretty as her sister, and she had mastered the art of femininity in a way that he doubts many could. Besides, she's good at teasing people, and he's very bad at being teased.

So unsurprisingly, as a guy with a bunch of girly hobbies and who'd been made fun of before, it was easy for him to get worked up and nervous around her. It didn't help that she seemed to have some kind of issue with him, though being himself, he hadn't quite been able to figure out what it was. So he'd taken the safer route of not thinking too hard about it. He assumes it's a natural consequence of him forcing himself in the middle of their friends ground, and monopolizing her sister's time no less. But he thinks she's a nice girl, and cute, and he likes her.

Which is why he's waiting outside of her workplace today. He supposes he could go in, but having barely survived the embarrassment of his first visit, there's no way he was going to subject himself to that again.

But... She seemed like she really had something she wanted to talk about, so Kanji had promised to wait for her. Just outside, where those uniforms can't hurt him. He can't imagine what it could be about, really. Maybe he crossed the line somewhere...? Or maybe she'd just gotten some strange idea in her head. Only one way to find out. So he stands there waiting, with his arms folded over his chest, looking a little like the bouncer in front of a club. ]

Open to canon, crosscanon, crossmedium, etc. Ash is canonically bisexual so while shipping is difficult without assuming CR, M/F and M/M are both welcome though I request they be 16+ with no upper age limit. Not the jealous party. For the other party, it's most likely that they'd be jealous of either the attention Ash receives or the skill he has. For example, he's considered extremely attractive in canon and thus, catches the eye of a lot of people. Likewise, he's an insanely skilled fighter with a lot of skills that he can pick up with ease.

I'm good with dating jealousy, but Ash isn't someone who'd intentionally make someone jealous. )

Since Sui is a 10,000-year-old fox demon in the body of a 28-year-old human, all characters must also be 21+ for shipping though younger characters are welcome to have one-sided crushes. Available in fox or human form. Just let me know which you prefer.

Sui is someone who would intentionally make a romantic partner jealous but he wouldn't actually cheat. As an alternative, he's a famous actor and is quickly rising in fame or, if we're going with the fox, is known to have captivated the immortal world. That may also cause jealousy. )

[Beatrix may not necessarily be the jealous type, but I suspect she could be if the pieces fall in the right alignment. I could be into prompts 1, 5, 8, or 9. (Possibly 4.)

There's a link to her wiki page on her journal, but the short of it is that Beatrix has a very icy public exterior, which paints her as immensely unwelcoming, and underneath it, she's very devoted and kind of heart. She just tends to put obligation over personal feelings and that professionalism can make her a difficult person to be around.

[He knew a long distance relationship was going to be difficult when he decided to still pursue college in another prefecture, but he underestimated just how much it would suck. It's like for the past few months, he'd forgotten what it was like before he dated Shuu. For one, not being around Shuu meant he often missed the simple things, like holding his hand or sneaking a kiss when he least expected it. For another, it made some of his more intrusive thoughts flare up, especially when the topic of his mystery girlfriend came up during their drinking parties.

It wasn't as if he didn't trust Shuu. He doesn't think that Shuu would be the type to cheat, and he was the patient guy who looked at the long term goals. But convincing himself that Shuu would still like him after so long? That was harder. Sure, they had Line and Instagram, and they made sure to keep in contact, but...

But.

It's these kinds of thoughts that occupy him as he absentmindedly chews on the end of his straw, his drink long finished as he waits for Shuu outside the tournament hall after having just watched his match. The main part of the Obon season starts next weekend, so classes ended a week earlier and he was able to book a train home amidst the crowd. They agreed to go on a date after the match, and Teshima had been excited for it. That is, until he saw the way that tall guy from his rival team swung an arm around Shuu's shoulders, leaning so close that Teshima wondered if they would kiss. The way Shuu smiled at his other rival too was, well...

He'd been distracting himself, scrolling through his feed until he comes upon an image of his college cycling team, during the after party. Hanikawa was next to him, looking pretty as always, and he wonders when that was taken.

On cue, she sends him a message, clear because of the icon that pops up with her face, asking him about the project they needed to work on.]
