Or maybe you just wanted an excuse to give them something?
Or maybe you're part of the Frog Rescue Society and you're tired of waiting for people to adopt?
Whatever your reason, you are giving/getting an animal!

1. Ant Farm: You know someone who could really use....a handful of insects!
2. Spiders: Because they deserve their own category

4. Amphibians: Frogs, salamanders, damp and slimy but they need hugs too!
5. Reptiles: Warm and scaly! Wonderful cuddle buddies!

7. Domestic Mammals: Cats, Dogs, Pigs, Guinea Pigs...
8. Farm animals: I got you a pony. Or a donkey. Or a sheep...

I don't know, you're the one carrying around a pile of really cute animals...

[ Yuri's coming closer she likes cute things too okay. She's just not as obvious about it. ]

They were just sitting out there?

I...! [If he was going to confess to anyone it'd be Yuri, but what's the likelihood of that happening?]

[He hands the basket out for Yuri to take a better look. Look at them adorable kittens and puppies that Noda had no clue how to be nice to!]

[ Probably none, considering she already knows and doesn't do anything but subtly tease him about it. He'd be setting himself up for disappointment. :( ]

Hmm...

[ Well, there was one solution. ]

Put them in headquarters and make anyone who tries to play with them during a meeting play a punishment game!

[So true, and Noda himself knew that so he wasn't going to do anything about it.

If it were anyone else, they may have probably questioned why a punishment game just for playing with the cute animals, but Noda didn't know any better.]

[And he goes to place the basket onto the table. He's about to step away from the table as one of the puppies jump out at Noda, catching him in surprise.

...Now there's a super awkward Noda trying to get a puppy from falling out of his arms.]

[ Yuri watches him for a moment, then goes to help him out. Meaning she's just gonna get up nice and close and start petting the puppy while he's in Noda's arms to get the dog to calm down.

Because watching Noda flail about her being less than a foot away from him is fun. And also fluffy puppy. ]

There, boy.

[And Noda goes bright red. HOLY CRAP YURI'S RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM AAAAaaaa...

He freezes in place as the puppy gets happy at the petting, his mind going blank.

What a wuss]

[ Now that he's frozen like a statue, Yuri takes the opportunity to strike up some conversation. ]
