THE FIGHT MEME

What else needs to be said? Release your inner warrior and partake in some epic (or hilariously bad) battles! Do you use a sword? Are you a martial arts master? Are you a wizard? Can you even fight?
It doesn't matter if you're just having a friendly spar or deciding the fate of the universe. You're suddenly filled with the urge to fight the next person you meet. Cut loose and show off your skills!
RULES
◘ Post with your character! List your fighting preferences if you'd like (Sparring, Death Battles, Anything Goes, etc.)
◘ Reply to someone else
◘ ROUND 1...
◘ ... FIGHT!
Here are some prompts to pick from (or RNG from):
1: VERBAL
Not all fights are physical. Maybe you're just really mad and really loud.
2: WUSSY
This is possibly the dumbest limp-wristed flail fight you've ever been involved in.
3: WITS
Because why would you beat someone into the ground when you can humiliate them with your massive intellect instead?
4: PRIZEFIGHT
There's an audience to watch and a prize at stake that only one of you can walk away with. Best bring your A-game.
5: SPARRING
You're fighting to improve. Whether you know your partner or whether you've
just met, you can be pretty sure you're walking away from this one.
6: GRUDGE MATCH
Your hated rival is in town. It's time for a rematch.
7: BAR FIGHT
Welcome to the mother of all drunken brawls.
8: YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS!
Maybe your opponent is your friend/sibling/love/other cherished person. Maybe
you're a pacifist. Either way, you're in this fight, but you really
don't want to be.
9: TO THE DEATH
This is it. Too much has happened for this to be anything but a fight to the end. Only one of you is walking away from this.
10: OBLIGATORY SMUT OPTION
Hate sex is the best. And some people like smut and some do not.
11: AGAINST THE HORDE
It's you and your ally against many. Demons, zombies, whatever. Rip and tear, until it is done.
12: GODMODE
You and your opponent both have world-breaking superpowers, and frankly everyone would be happier if you weren't fighting. You are, though, and it's awesome, even if there might not be much left when you're done.
13: RANDOM
Your very own personalized scenario.

[Zack's clan had been at loggerheads with another for months now, the conflict never quite boiling over into violence but always threatening it, with the push and pull of gaining and losing territory, and the back-and-forth of sabotaging each other's business interests and claiming innocence.
It was about to erupt into a full on turf war. This had been settled on as a more civilised solution. One representative from each clan, the cage in the Purgatory Coliseum, and just their fists. The loser's clan would be absorbed by the winner's, and that would be that.
The clan head, unwilling to put his own neck on the line, had picked Zack for the task. As far as Zack was concerned, that was fine by him, just another day on the job, and as the time came for the fight to begin, he swaggered into the cage with an easy confidence, barefoot and stripped down to the waist.
'End it quick,' he'd been told. He was just fine with that.]

After her frantic departure following a failed attempt to murder her mother, Azula had been lost in the valley for over a month. While Zuko wanted to track her down himself he was torn between his runaway sister and his reunion with his mother. Not to mention bonding with his new Stepfather and half sister.
However Azula didn't know any of that. She barely knew how long she'd been lost and wandering the spirit infused forests. Here where the veil between the living and the spirits was weak she had alternated between trying to survive the elements, and trying to survive the spirits who all seemed to have a vendetta against her.
Almost destroying the balance of the world forever might have something to do with that.
But worst of all was HE had found her. The one person she knew she couldn't beat in a head to head fight. And so she was running. Darting and dodging and weaving her way through ruins and vine covered ground trying to find cover.
Somewhere to hide from the most peace loving and kind hearted person she had ever met.

His own movements were slower, more of a trot than a run. The forest was getting deeper, thicker; it was a matter of time until her speed would become useless - and so he followed, tracing her by subtle signs. Bent branches, a footprint in mud or moss.
He almost wished she'd slip away, but knew he couldn't let her do that.
no subject
Her, the Princess, the war hero turned criminal.
It was more then she could stand some nights.
But she was running out of forest to hide in and knew eventually she'd have to stand and fight. So she was desperately seeking somewhere to make her stand. An area that would give her an advantage of some sort. Maybe with lots of dry brush or cover.
She couldn't let him do to her what he'd done to her father. She didn't know that Aang was more scared of trying it on her then she was, and so she ran towards the base of a mountain that rose up out of the forest on the far side of the valley.
Some ruins appeared almost out of thin air and Azula slid to a stop in the wet grass. Not exactly the least obvious place for an ambush but it had lots of cover and some vines that choked the stonework. She could easily turn these ruins into a blaze that would choke the avatar if he wasn't careful.
But would it be enough?
Slipping deeper into the ruins Azula allowed herself a moment of breath to look around and take in the details of what this place had once been. A building of importance perhaps? It was big enough and seemed to have the remains of decoration on the walls. Ratty tapestries and colored glass in the windows and on the floor.
All seemed to be drawing her deeper. Past the remains of a campsight. She wasn't the first one to take shelter here.
no subject
When he started to see stones, however, some doubt began to seep in - did Azula have a plan after all? She seemed...half mad, at best, but she was always dangerous. But if she had time to strategize, that was even worse. In all of this, could she have had a backup stratagem in place the entire time?
It was Azula, so it was possible.
Either way, it was time to make changes.
Like flicking open his glider from his staff and leaping into the air.
no subject
She was moving quickly, quietly but Aang was used to trying to see things from the air so if she moved outside of the main ruins or there was a hold he would see her.
What she saw however took her breath away.
A massive statue made of something dense and dark. Rough from years of neglect she noticed moss growing along some of the cracks and creeping up it's base.
But it was in every sense of the word, a completely lifesized, nightmarish looking dragon.
"This is nothing like the paintings." She mumbled out loud approaching with a sense of awe and reverence that distracted her from the chase that had led to her taking cover here. It was coiled like a snake with one massive claw on an orb of some sort.
But where she expected to see whiskers were tendrils. Along it's back the wings were jagged and tattered like a battered flag after a rainstorm. And it's eyes were empty like a skull where the scales hadn't fallen away yet.
What kind of artisan could sculpt something so hauntingly alive and yet leave it to crack and crumble in this abandoned place?
no subject
There was something wrong about all of this. He wasn't sure what his instincts were saying in any specific way - but there was something. Could Azula's plan involve that statue?
He alighted on an archway behind her.
"Azula," he called, gently enough. "I want you to come with me. Please."

1. We've done it before but it's always fun to have it be their first time
meeting in the spirit world and Azula being woefully out of her depth.
2. They've known each other for some time and now Marie is training Azula
through combat.
3. Unlikely allies against a larger threat, perhaps monster hunters who are
coming for Marie and one way or the other she's convinced Azula to help
her, or bounty hunters looking for Azula of course.
4. Modern AU: Magical girl option. Azula is The Blue Dragoness, Marie is a
heroine or villainess. Proceed accordingly.

Winner picks where we go out for dinner, right?
[Erza requips to the Armadura Fairy armour, with a newly-opened restaurant already in mind. She'd heard that the parfaits were to die for. She was sure that she'd like Mirajane's choice as well, but it's the principle of the thing - plus, sparring with Mirajane was always fun.
Whenever Mirajane finishes transforming, Erza lunges forward, sword in hand, not wanting to give Mira the advantage by letting her strike first. It might be foolish of her not to go with her most powerful armour off the bat, but she knows that this fight is going to last a while no matter which set she chooses.]
Here I come, honey!
[Despite the pet names, this fight was probably going to be as brutal or destructive as one would expect from the guild's youngest S-class mages, and Erza wouldn't have it any other way.]
no subject
Sounds like fun! Don't expect me to go easy on you now~!
[She wasn't planning on going all out right off the bat, but she liked the idea of getting to choose their dinner plans. If she got her way, she'd cook Erza a candlelit meal at her apartment in Fairy Hills. She preferred the comfort of her own kitchen for cooking, but preferred the privacy of Erza's apartment, away from impressionable siblings that might overhear their "dessert" plans unfolding.
Mirajane didn't have much time to fantasize about desserts because Erza came in hard and fast with her twin blades as soon as she'd transformed into her classic Satan soul form. It was all she could do to lift up her claws to parry, earning her a small gash in said claws. She didn't give Erza much time to worry about her, because she created orbs of dark energy from her claws to blast her across the arena. She might be able to dig in her heels to keep herself from crashing into anything, but Mirajane was trying to make sure she got some distance between them so she could use her superior ranged magic.]
Seems your not going easy on me either! I shouldn't have underestimated you.
[Well she's not sure it was really underestimating, but she was a bit too busy fighting to find the exact words she wanted.]
no subject
Skidding to a stop, she glances at her swords - the blasts melted the edge of them. While it didn't go all the way through, it's enough that they aren't useful any more, so she makes them disappear.]
Nice one!
[Summoning a large enchanted shield, she dashes forward - it's not much of a weapon, but it should hopefully keep her safe from energy blasts until she can close the gap. That is, if Mirajane even sticks with energy blasts; she's got plenty of tricks up her sleeves.]
no subject
[Mirajane's raw magical power was immense, but her physical prowess was nothing to sneeze at either. Sustaining a barrage of magical energy like the one she had used to blow Erza away, while being potentially effective, was hardly efficient. It was one of the reasons she was an S class mage and Natsu was not, because while his power could even exceed her own, he lacked the temperament and mind for strategy she had.
She was quick to adapt to Erza's strategy with a strategy of her own, zooming in close to Erza by flying in on her wings. Erza likely hadn't expected Mirajane to switch back to melee so soon by the choice of her weapon, and she used one claw to grab hold of her shield and lift it up high, while using the other claw to swipe underneath at her.
The claw swipe was designed to rake across her armor, potentially ripping loose several plates and locking chains. If Mirajane's claw managed to make contact, it would make a sound almost akin to nails on a chalkboard, as sparks flew and metal crunched. She didn't want to cause Erza's armor or body any irreparable damage, but she would certainly make the girl glad she had the armor rather than a nasty chest wound.]
no subject
Her shield vanishes, leaving one of Mira's hands grasping at empty air, as her armour shifts into the Ataraxia armour. With a hand gesture, the wing-like blades hovering behind her form a makeshift wall in between the two of them.]
Dance!
[As she leaps backwards, the blades start swinging wildly at Mirajane. She knows that they won't hold her off for long, but they should be able to give her time to plan her next steps, at least.]
no subject
Quite the nuisance you've summoned Erza, but will it be enough?
[Mirajane growled as she was swatting left and right at the blades swinging through the air wildly at her. She wanted to conserve her magic as much as possible, and thankfully almost every part of Mirajane was a weapon, her claws, her tail, her legs, her wings, so she didn't need to conjure forth any of her dark energy to blast the blades, relying instead on Satan Soul's purely physical aspects. She was saving that for when she could finally get her opening.]
