He wakes to the sound of blaster fire. This isn't new at all: he's been waking to the sound of blaster fire for months now. This is distant and separated from their hiding place by some distance. Part of the usual routine of waking is to listen to the Force, and this morning it says he's in no immediate danger. So he feels no urgency to move just yet.

He rolls over to his side and watches the way the dawn light makes her hair shine warm like the Mandalorian Sun itself. And the back of his mind he knows that Qui-Gon will be disappointed when he finds out, but Obi-Wan can't bring himself to care.

He puts an arm over her shoulder and draws himself closer to her.
