Power Up: There are interesting ways you can put abilities to use. Hurt: You didn't mean to, but you hurt them physically. ((Depends on what you're up for, but I was thinking a standard scenario where Flynn opens what he thinks is a chest, but surprise!! Only instead of wanting to eat him, the mimic just wants to fuck him to (figurative) death. Maybe it has arms to grab and strip Flynn out of his armour, and that tongue gets a workout, rubbing against Flynn's nethers until he comes?

If that doesn't work for you, I'm happy to hear any other ideas you may have.))

Captured by human pirates, and carried far from her home waters aboard a ship that subsequently went down in a storm, Syrena had found herself tangled in the rigging and washed ashore. The mermaid had struggled in a shallow tidepool until she was exhausted, but the waterlogged ropes held her fast. Half in, and half out of water, she was unable to shift forms. All she could do was hope for the tide to come in before her gills dried out, and even then she was afraid the flotsam might drag her down.

Luckily, fate had seen fit to send a rescuer to her that day. At first, she'd thought she was delirious from dehydration, for she had never seen a merman among her own kind, but once she realized he was real, she couldn't take her eyes off of the curiously attractive creature who'd come to her aid.

Rikuo was searching for more of his kind after his homeland was devastated by an unearthly evil force. He would scour all the seas and rivers of the world if he had to. But it was sheer luck that the day he climbed the rocks to search the tidepools was also the day that Syrena was trapped within one. If he had searched a day earlier or she washed up a day later, they would have missed one another.

As it was, he stood atop the raised rocks that separated her from the sea, framed by the sun. Looking down at the unusual sight, a combination of human and fish unlike one he'd ever seen. Perhaps she was a product of his kind mating with a human? Such questions could wait if they mattered at all. Rikuo prided himself on being a noble warrior of the sea. When a damsel was in distress, he was sure to appear.

With an agile leap from the rocks, he landed in a squat pose much like a frog, his blue eyes wide and fascinated. Strangely, his immediate attraction was reversed to how a human might see her. The fine shimmering scales of her tail were gorgeous and familiar. Her human features were exotic and intriguing.

"I'm here to help," he said with a comforting, gentle tone. He didn't want to simply start slashing at her bindings with his huge claws without first alleviating her fear. "I am Rikuo."

Startled by his sudden approach, Syrena recoiled, but there was nowhere for to go. The hiss of fright quickly faded into a sigh of relief when he voiced his intentions, and she did her best to relax and let him work. She couldn't help but turn her head to watch him, though, equally intrigued by his almost but not quite familiar features.

"Thank you," she whispered hoarsely, licking her parched lips. "I was afraid no one would come."

Normally, visits from foreign diplomats are standard affairs for Princess Tovir. Not boring, but not exciting either. They're just par for the royal course. But this visit is different. Something about Emperor Rikuo draws her - makes her smile and regal graciousness that much more sincere. She even found herself keeping his company when possible, and accidentally staring at him with flushed cheeks when not.

Tonight is one of the nights when they've found each other. Dinner is over, and while the big, welcoming gala happened the night Rikuo arrived, there's still mingling and finger food desserts to be had. Tovir just so happened to choose an evening dress with a low, sweetheart neckline. Purely coincidence.

She smiles and curtsies to Rikuo. "I hope you have found the evening to your liking, Emperor."

[Glit is a former Decepticon medic; he's a cassetticon, so he's only about 7 feet tall when he stands bipedally and he's the size of a large jaguar. He's a white cat robot with some red and blue markings, blue leg struts, and golden eyes. He has a thing for humans. He is really not important enough to be sought out for an arranged marriage, but he did use to travel with the pop star Rosanna as one of her backup singers in her band, the Kiss Players. Would prefer no painful scenarios, open to just about everything else. He cannot, absolutely cannot, get anyone organic pregnant. That just is not how it works, LOL.]

[OMG I almost missed this due to my work going nuts at the end of the month! Sorry about the delay.

So! Funny you should mention this, but I have been playing Glit in nexus_crossings, which is an RP. Now you aren't in that so we can definitely just have this be out in the unrelated ether somewhere and I'll just go from canon for Glitterbomb.

But in the Nexus, someone named Haggar? Honerva? She's called Honerva by most everyone but sometimes also Haggar. She blew up some kind of interdimensional portal that has kept people from this canon (which I don't know a lot about) from going back and forth and this little kid with purple skin and white hair ended up getting stuck there.

Glit has been taking care of him.

On the one hand, like I said, everything I know about the canon is what I know about the little boy who grows up to be the Noble Bad Guy in canon. He walked up to Glit and asked him if he was a Lion. Sooooooo...Glit absconded with him and has been caring for him ever since these other characters disappeared and left him behind. Babby Lotor now has an Eevee and two Decepticon sparkling "big sisters". Glit works for the Decepticon embassy to the Nexus, but that means he can travel interdimensionally and do whatever he likes in other universes.

On the other hand, if you don't want to deal with Glit raising the Galran Imperial Heir as a neo-Decepticon, I can totally play him hiding out in Tokyo after the end of the war before getting recruited into Rosanna's band. (he sings!)

Advantages of canon muse:
* no entanglements with other people's characters that he'd feel honour-bound to disclose to you even though you'd likely never interact with them (e.g. Tony Stark)
* nothing to worry about other than canon

Advantages of nexus muse:
* has a babby Lotor that he's still figuring out how to take care of
* quit drinking--Glit in canon is kind of a problem drinker.]

[GAH! I had this geared up for response, but the computer died and it slipped through the proverbial cracks! So let's see. Yes, Haggar and Honerva are the same person. Honerva was the original Altean, but after she was corrupted and lost her memories, she took on the name Haggar until she recovered her mind later on. So depending on where the player(s) are in canon depends on what name they call her. She was known as Haggar until like... season 6 out of 8, so there ya go.And yeah, Lotor is her son.

Shiro would be... extremely surprised to find Glit taking care of Lotor, but he wouldn't demand anything negative to happen for it, since the kid's basically innocent. And likely from an alternate timeline where his mother and father didn't get all corrupted and evil. Shiro would have no problem with Glit trying to give the boy a new life, though he'd probably want to find a way to send little Lotor back home to be with his real parents. In time, if they're able, of course.

Honestly, both options are fine with me. The one with Lotor at least seems to be more a lighter background, compared to Glit having to hide out from... everything. (Though it'd be hilarious to see this metal cat singing in a band).

The canon muse option lends itself more to a oneshot story, though the nexus muse likely has an easier CR to get behind, with Shiro helping Glit handle raising Lotor while they try to find a way to send him home. Then again, Shiro trying to help Glit avoid his drinking problems would also be some interesting CR as well. I have a slight leaning towards the canon muse, mostly due to this being a first thread together, but I have no problem with playing from the nexus if that's your preference/comfort!
