Blinded me with science
![]() In this laboratory setting you've found yourself in - be it a shady, fly-by-night hackjob, a secret governmental facility, or a sleek, state-of-the art facility - there's no room for error. What's done is done for science: pure, perfect, uncorrupted by human foibles. Data is the only language spoken, reason the guiding light. And for all this progress to occur smoothly, everyone must know their proper role, from the specialists at work to the lowly crew...and, of course, any experiments involved. Some more bleeding hearts would feel sorry for the latter, but make no mistake, they're little more than lab rats. They are not to be pitied. Emotion shouldn't even be wasted on them. Especially not an emotion as messy and useless in and of itself as romantic love. Why, you wouldn't want to jeopardize the breakthrough of the ages on account of some fairy tale, would you? Besides, it would be the most unfulfilling of relationships, for you could never be with your beloved test subject. Unless. Unless you broke them out. Such an action would be highly illogical and, more importantly, met with severe punishment. Are they worth all that? How to Play - Your character is either some sort of test subject/creature/weapon/misunderstood and otherwise tortured prisoner of science OR an outside party (scientist, doctor, janitor, visitor, journalist, sky's the limit). They meet their opposite. They fall in love. Bad Shit happens. Nobody's happy. - Comment with your character, preferences, role, info, all the good stuff. - Reply to others. - Be tragic and miserable together. |

How's this for an intro? If it's too anchored in Mitsune's canon I can redo it.
But her skills with computers were unsurpassed among the rest of the people living in the Hinata House including Mitsune "Kitsune" Konno. Sure she had used a computer before and she loved to play video games but she was no hacker or techie.
Still she was bored, a little drunk and Su was off at school so Mitsune let herself into the foreign girls room and went sniffing around.
"Turtle robots, rocket launchers, some kinda power armor...this girl can't focus on a project for more then an hour can she?" Mitsune mused with a smirk as she made her way past various tropical plants which made the bedroom look more like a jungle then a mad scientists lair.
The computer itself was completely custom, built from the ground up with Su's trademark logo of three eyes decorating the sides. Luckily for Kitsune Su didn't password protect her desktop.
Unlucky for Kitsune, a strong password would have kept her from clicking curiously into a program that looked to Kitsune like a game of some sort.
And most unlucky of all was who would be playing with whom.

We're sorry but your PC ran into a problem and needs to
restart. We're collection some error info, and then I'll
restart it for you!
99% complete...
This issue is a common occurrence. There is no need to visit a website to fix it.
There is no need to call a support person, but if you do give them this info:
Stop code: DDLC_ESCAPE_PLAN
There was something a bit odd about this BSOD, though. It kind of looked somewhat... Off. The blue color was ever-so slightly different from the usual Window BSOD. Even the restart process was different, as it immediately loaded the desktop back, without even going through the usual loading screen. Everything is back to normal though, except for two things.
The icon for the game was gone, for one. And there was someone contacting them through the installed chat program. The display name was "lilmonix3" and the profile picture was a heart. Should she click on the message, there was only one sentence:
"Hey there? Anyone here?! (>.<)"

Thankfully the problems seemed to fix itself and she breathed a sigh of relief. Then a message popped up and Kitsune felt a little paranoid looking over both shoulders to see if anyone was watching before responding.
"Hello there. Who is this?"
no subject
Off.
"Finally someone! Hi, I'm Monika ^_^"
"Would you want to talk a little bit?"
"I know it's gonna sound crazy, but I'm an AI who was trapped in there... Still, am, ahaha. Well, less than I was."
"I still need a physical body."

Kitsune spoke out loud confused by what she was reading. She even read it again to make sure she hadn't misunderstood. She liked some sci fi but this was a little silly wasn't it?
She looked around a Jr High girl's room filled with tropical plants, robots and complicated machines before she realized that she might want to consider this seriously.
"Hello Monika, I'm Kitsune. How did you get trapped in a computer? Isn't that where AI come from or something?"
