It's time for a blast from the past, y'all. Maybe you go into a mysterious shop in Chinatown selling pets and come home with something... exotic. Maybe you're the proprietor of the shop, taking care of your charges and trying to find them suiting homes. Maybe you're a police officer trying to bust an animal smuggling ring or...something. It's not quite clear. Maybe you're one of the pets for sale. Maybe, just maybe, there's a little bit of magic in that incense. Are you in for a surprise with your new pet?

If he's the pet, he's 100% a moth boy with looks/wings resembling that of a lunar moth, who demands a lot of attention and sugary treats. Not sure on what his restrictions could be though... Or what happens when you break them, so feel free to shoot anything my way! ))

[Every was a blur since the falls, flailing of limbs, the roar of a cascade, pressure, wet, darkness.

The first thing he's aware of is the smell of incense, thick and heavy in the air somehow without being overly cloying or migraine-inducing, and warmth, comfort. His eyes open slowly, the world spinning as he pushes himself up... his balance is off, his senses feels... different.

There's a familiar smell...? smell? But the his surroundings look completely different, like the interior of an exotic palace or a house of pleasure, there's sounds of movement, people... people? just beyond the doors and walls as he stumbles, letting his nose guide him]

[There's the sound of something - an animal, most likely - shaking off water, along with a curse in a voice that is achingly familiar.

The voice of the same man who just went over the falls with him, before he stumbled into this strange place - a light at the end of the seemingly infinite hallway, and the smell of a wet cat harsh in the air.]

[ He's not exactly in the mood for shopping of any kind, much less for a living creature, when he stumbles into the shop. But though he'd gotten rid of his target, the entourage of bodyguards and hangers-on were too troublesome to deal with, so he'd hastily disguised himself and ducked into the nearest open door, causing a commotion further ahead so he didn't have to place the burden of someone having to hide him from not-very-legal activity.

He leans against the doorframe and takes a moment to rest, eyes flicking to the side behind his glamored glasses as he hears the sound of shouting people - first close, then further away. ]
