Her traits are compassionate, kind, stubborn, strong-willed, perfectionist, with a fear of failure and being helpless. ✕ world info	A soldier who agreed under false pretenses to let the mages' council experiment on him to make him a living weapon. He has an enhanced berserker mode meant for battle, but it's taking him over and the bouts of rage are difficult to stop. He's been assigned a healer mage as his "handler" to magically cure the rage temporarily, but he decides to abandon the army in search of a cure. He's from an original fantasy setting but I also have a Skyrim AU version of him which is nearly the same, with it being those inept mages at the College of Winterhold who put this magical rage in him, so he's searching for a witch of the wilds type to help him instead. ✕ looking for	The big thing is he's searching for someone with the magical know how to cure him, since the army's mages can't or won't, so he's on a big quest here and could totally pick someone up on the way. Maybe someone who has a similar goal where they're looking for a magical person for help. Magical healer types to temporarily cure him of his episodes would definitely make the trip easier, but he has a potion he takes that helps if your character isn't a healer. A partner that can put up with a grump that worries he's going to fly off the handle and go on a rampage at any moment. Could be an adventuring buddy to fight bandits/wild beasts/etc., or something slow burn that turns romantic if they're a woman. NGL, I just love the trope of big, scary barbarian guy and tiny, gentle healer gal so I will play that one out a hundred times. Bring me your Skyrim OCs or Dragonborns and let's adventure! He spends a lot of his time working from the shadows to gather information in hopes to one day kill the vampire who turned him (against his will). From the outside, he appears to be pretty cold and stoic but is, in fact, the complete opposite of that. It just takes him a while to open up and/or trust others since trusting too easily landed him in his current undead position. Despite his initial demeanor, he has a lot of connections throughout the city and uses that when he can.

He lives in a world in which 'supernaturals' co-exist among normal humans, less secret, the world knows about the existence of vampires, werewolves, fairies, demons, witches, fae, demigods, reapers, etc. And while they're mostly accepted, there are also tales of anti-'freak' hunter groups, which is why he kept his true identity secret from mostly all but close friends. Alex has rarely met his father aside from a few visits, mostly raised by his mother. Attended the best schools, was a popular and well liked student. He's mostly left to his own devices except when his master needs him - at which point he usually finds his will overtaken and under his master's control until he does what needs to be done, at which point he's left alone again. In between being controlled by his (definitely evil) master, Mish is happy-go-lucky, innocent and sweet and eager to learn more, he travels in search of intrigue and adventure. If asked about his past he tends to be evasive, but he doesn't like outright lying so if pressed he will admit to being created or summoned by his master, and not knowing what he is. She can be impatient, ignorant of the plight of others, and gossipy. She often is curious about others' personal lives — a trait inherited from her mother and her gossipy ways. However, Vesperina isn't outright cruel or mocking, nor does she take delight in causing others pain. If anything, she wants information in order to stay on top in the games of intrigue that all aristocrats play. Her plans for a future as a wife and matriarch of a noble line have been thrown into upheaval with the recent revelation that she has magic. Despite of this, or perhaps because of it, she has maintained her sweet, genuine demeanour and is generally well-liked by her peers for her soft-spoken friendliness. When she meets Margot, a sought-after courtesan, who will become the love of her life, her world opens up in an instant and she begins a journey towards self-reliance and confidence.

Except he owns a few hotels and restaurants in Vegas and Los Angeles. He came up from nothing with a single mother and as an only child, well biologically. His mom took in the occasional lost soul who just needed a place o stay away from whatever hell they were escaping. He keeps in contact with some of them, even has one working for him. He is much like his mother in that regard, if you find a place in his life he will stand by you for anything, with some obvious exceptions. Break a law or hurt someone and he's done. More info here

Ultimately, they failed... but where Iris' brother was whisked to safety, Iris put herself in the hands of Oublivae to aid his escape. ✕ world info	Hilariously...Fye is not the main character of this story. That person hasn't been discovered yet. They're a person without a Blessing. Or maybe they're a person with many (or all) Blessings. But the Blessings are essentially different elemental gifts with different "careers" attached to them. ✕ world info	The new landscape of psychical, occult and crypto science meant there were rare new spheres at the turn of the century where women might excel. Evangeline Nix took the privilege of her station and stepped into the most shadowy corners of the industrial enlightenment. There, of course, she found a fair number of charlatans, folklore or mistaken identification but such was the price of applying practical science to the unknown and she preferred skepticism to some of her her colleagues' faith. In the late 19th century, a group of adventurers set out for the Carpathian mountains, the inevitable attempt to find and study cases of vampirism. A catastrophic but mundane accident turned into a nightmare when one of the creatures they were hunting came out of the dark to scavenge the bodies. Eva and one other researcher were the sole survivors. Life goes on. In the early 1900s Evangeline met Arthur Sterling, an exorcist out of Texas and after a time, their professional relationship resulted in their engagement. But death was never far from Eva's side, and Sterling was violently killed by one of his patients in October of 1900. And still she carries on. She's continued her work, transitioning to teaching and then to archiving and taking care of the precious library where she's spent the last century and half of her life.

Other non-human types for same and/or for study Though she's bound to have a contentious relationship with other vampires, I'd love for her to have a vampire friend to help her cope with her condition. Companions and colleagues during/from her own time period (1890s/1900s). She was a nurse in France during WWI, but disappeared mysteriously during WWII and has been a recluse ever since.
