Soundwave has been more embarrassed before, but not often. He is holding a flash drive. It's dark blue. It looks like his flash drive, and he found it in his computer, but it's not his flash drive. It's not his SO's flash drive either. It's full of fashion designs and it belongs to a girl who is one of his SO's more extraverted friends, and when he came home last night after work, the two of them were studying in their shared living room, so he left them to it.

And now, his flash drive is missing. Does Evie have it?

"Uh...hi. And also Ravi says hi."

And if so...has she looked at it yet?

He holds out the flash drive. "I don't mind you guys borrowing my computer when I'm not home, but. This isn't mine. Do you have the one that is?"

II: TORNADO WARNING

[ SMS: IMMINENT WEATHER - SEVERE TORNADO WARNING ]

Asahina was in the middle of running flights up the stairwell of her dormitory until she finally reached the last and final twentieth floor. Her AirPods were secured in her ears shutting out the world as she stood in triumph catching her breath with beads of sweat glistening on bronze skin. Good timing! She took out her iPhone from the sporty armband just to switch up her songs until a vibration startled the athlete.

RIIIIIIIING. RIIIIIIIING. RIIIIIIIING.
The notification popped and remained on her screen for a good minute and read the notification out loud.

"Severe... T-TORNADO WARNING IN YOUR AREA?! Take shelter immediately?! Oh, crap! My dorm is on the sixth floor -- do I go back to my dorm or go to the first floor where it's safer? What do I do... what do I dooooo?" Panic themed her body as her mind became overwhelmed with last-minute indecisive decisions. "I'll go to the first floor and make my way to the library and hide under their desk, but there's a glass door. Crap, that won't work. I'll think of something on my way down."

Exercising was completely out of the question because of her current situation. She began making her way down flight-by-flight quickly and parkour-like to get to the bottom of her building. Literally.

[The worst part was that- well, there were a lot of worst parts to this. In no particular order:

1. That they had their last few classes in this room. It would be one thing if it was the first day - Lio could accept that it was his fault for getting the room wrong. But not when it was mid-semester.

2. Their professor was enough of an ass that Lio wasn't sure if they could just forget about it. Turn around. Leave. Well, no. He could. His grade wouldn't be hurt too much by it, and it was cold and he didn't feel like walking around campus. But he also didn't feel like taking the equally cold bus ride back to his apartment, and there was nothing else for him to do, and their professor was the type of ass who'd use them skipping one of the lectures (one of the big lectures, though all of the lectures was a big lecture according to that ass) as a reason to dock points in the next quiz.

And the end of semester reviews were still a long ways away.

It's not unusual for Victor to be in the library at god awful hours of the night. The young med student practically lived there. He was there minutes upon opening and would almost habitually be the second to last person out the door at night when it closed.

He was usually found in his traditional spot, surrounded by a veritable mountain of times, his little leather bound notebook open, his hand furiously writing.

He tended to leave the computers alone. Victor preferred the old ways, plus there were often key loggers. It was better to simply sit and pour through anything and everything he could get his hands on.

He's halfway through jotting down something new about Galvinism when he hears a sound from the computer area. It's nearly closing time and he's certain he and the ancient librarian are the only ones left. It sounds like a chair scooting away.

That someone else would be here so late is intreguing. Victor's had one late night energy drink too many and can't argue with his own curiousity at the rare occurrence of another person in the library at ass-o'clock at night.

He picks up his notebook (it's worth everything to him. He never leaves it behind) and creeps his way towards the computer area. A too pale face with brilliant blue eyes peeks cautiously out from behind the stacks.

The computer is on still and the chair has been pushed out, but no one is there.

Victor creeps closer until he's before the computer. He reaches for the mouse to shut it down when his attention is caught to the information on the screen. His other hand clutches his notebook closer.

The research is eeriely close to his own. The interests are frightening in their similarities. His Experiment, still only a hypothetical in his notebook asks all the same questions he sees on the screen. He should turn it off, walk away, go back to his own research, but Victor can't deny his own scientific curiousity.

He clicks the mouse to the next file, ingrossed. Not thinking about the fact that the owner will surely be back for their research.
