THE FIGHT MEME

What else needs to be said? Release your inner warrior and partake in some epic (or hilariously bad) battles! Do you use a sword? Are you a martial arts master? Are you a wizard? Can you even fight?
It doesn't matter if you're just having a friendly spar or deciding the fate of the universe. You're suddenly filled with the urge to fight the next person you meet. Cut loose and show off your skills!
RULES
◘ Post with your character! List your fighting preferences if you'd like (Sparring, Death Battles, Anything Goes, etc.)
◘ Reply to someone else
◘ ROUND 1...
◘ ... FIGHT!
Here are some prompts to pick from (or RNG from):
1: VERBAL
Not all fights are physical. Maybe you're just really mad and really loud.
2: WUSSY
This is possibly the dumbest limp-wristed flail fight you've ever been involved in.
3: WITS
Because why would you beat someone into the ground when you can humiliate them with your massive intellect instead?
4: PRIZEFIGHT
There's an audience to watch and a prize at stake that only one of you can walk away with. Best bring your A-game.
5: SPARRING
You're fighting to improve. Whether you know your partner or whether you've
just met, you can be pretty sure you're walking away from this one.
6: GRUDGE MATCH
Your hated rival is in town. It's time for a rematch.
7: BAR FIGHT
Welcome to the mother of all drunken brawls.
8: YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS!
Maybe your opponent is your friend/sibling/love/other cherished person. Maybe
you're a pacifist. Either way, you're in this fight, but you really
don't want to be.
9: TO THE DEATH
This is it. Too much has happened for this to be anything but a fight to the end. Only one of you is walking away from this.
10: OBLIGATORY SMUT OPTION
Hate sex is the best. And some people like smut and some do not.
11: AGAINST THE HORDE
It's you and your ally against many. Demons, zombies, whatever. Rip and tear, until it is done.
12: GODMODE
You and your opponent both have world-breaking superpowers, and frankly everyone would be happier if you weren't fighting. You are, though, and it's awesome, even if there might not be much left when you're done.
13: RANDOM
Your very own personalized scenario.

"Ah, Sombra! What a pleasant surprise!" His tone is genuine, congenial. Of his current cohort, she easily clears the (incredibly low) bar of "most personable." He can carry on a casual conversation, enjoy a bit of precious normalcy. But they're not here on a social call, and his smile wilts into an uncertain frown.
"W-wait. You're here to-- Are you sure?" he asks, rising from his seat.
It's a testament to Sombra's skill that he has very little insight into her day-to-day duties and even less visibility into how well she holds her own in a fight. She can't be helpless -- Talon simply doesn't hire weak or incapable people -- but if his round with Akande was any indicator, his power can still slip out of control if pushed.
"That is, no doubt you can handle yourself, but ..." he leaves the thought incomplete, instead waving a hand vaguely, glancing at the crushed remains of a training bot.
no subject
"Awwww! Siebren, you do care! That's sweet of you."
She blew a tuft of purple hair out of her eyes.
"I heard about what happened with Doomfist. He's a powerful fighter...but he can push too hard, sometimes, you know? Get too close for comfort...but me? I'm the opposite. I prefer...stealth. It is a completely different set of skills and senses to train. See...I'm not about direct confrontation. You can handle that very well. I am more about...information gathering...sneaking around...that sort of thing. So for today...you just have to find me before I find you. A sort of...high tech hide and seek...if you are up for it?"
It is a game.
She loves games.

"Interesting! Blind man's bluff also comes to mind." Her proposal is not at all what he was expecting, but his curiosity is piqued. "So I just have to flush you out of hiding?"
Maybe this will be one training session where he doesn't spend the following hours incapacitated, physically or mentally. This could even be fun ... ?
He visibly relaxes, cracking an easy smile. "Count me in."
no subject
"Hey, don't worry. I was only kidding about that."
Of all the people in Talon she worked with, Siebren was the most conscious of others' feelings...at least as far as she could tell. She nodded.
"Well, yeah, sorta. I mean...if you don't I can hack you...temporarily paralyze certain abilities...that sort of thing. Glad to hear you are up for it."
Siebren's body language relaxed, which was a relief. A not stressed Subject Sigma was much less likely to slam one into the ground.
"You ready, Siebren?"
no subject
"Ready. Should I cover my eyes and count to ten?" he quips, rising into a proper float and rolling his shoulders.

She seemed to flicker out of existence as her cloaking device clicked on. Her translocator whirred to life and in an instant, she disappeared back to wherever she had appeared from.
Sombra popped up where her original translocator had been placed. Still cloaked, she peered out from behind a pile of discarded training bots. Carefully, she began to circle around the outside of the training room, slowly closing in on Siebren without heading directly for him.
no subject
The first, most obvious clue was the brief trail of her teleport. Only a split second of hazy, purple afterimage, but it's something to go on. He follows the implied trajectory, his eyes sweeping back and forth for more data to support his theory.
Unfortunately, his focus is also very narrow as he peers around obstructions and listens for cues in the relative silence; he doesn't consider that Sombra might stay on the move.

Like a shark moving in, she closed the distance between them and she reached out and used her cybernetic implants to feel for his connections...to his armor...his nervous system and his abilities and there it was.
3-2-1
HACKED
"GOTCHA!"
Siebren would find himself unable to use any of his newly acquired abilities for several seconds.
Sombra decloaked and clapped her hands excitedly.
"Sombra-1, Sigma-0."
Once again, she faded from sight.
no subject
He spins, surprise (and a hint of fear) clearly written on his face. "Ah! You--"
And she's gone again. "Verdomme. That's impossible ..."
He sets his teeth, flexing his hands and grasping for the threads that connect him to the underpinnings of reality. It's terrifying how easily she managed to sever them.
Don't let it get to you. He takes a deep breath and shakes off the eerie sensation. He still doesn't have much to go on, other than the knowledge that whatever her process is, it's not instantaneous. If he responds quickly enough, he may have a chance.
As an extra precaution, he moves to keep his back to the wall, scanning the training room and waiting for his powers to restore themselves.
no subject
Ahh...he is learning already, moving his back against the wall, blocking her from repeating her same attack pattern. She darted across the room, making sure her feet made a little noise, only to carefully move backward...it was a feint.
She smiled in her stealth and tried to work her way back to Siebren's left side. If he listened particularly carefully, he might hear it.
no subject
Sombra's ploy works as intended: the sound is amplified against the hard surfaces and easily draws his notice. Siebren cautiously moves to investigate, slowing his breath and listening intently for another hint of careless noise.
She must be counting on exploiting his fixed attention, so he keeps his eyes firmly to the right, while tuning his ear to the left. He's absolutely not keen on being hacked again. He waits for the barest hint of noise and ...
Swipes his hand upward to void the Earth's gravity in the six-foot radius where he suspects she's hiding. Debris and equipment begin to float aloft, slowly turning end-over-end.
"Hebbes!"
no subject
His six foot guess was accurate enough. Sombra found herself lifted off the ground, thankfully with a bit more finesse than she had expected. He really was getting better at this. Good thing.
"Ach!"
She made a strangled cry and cursed under her breath. She dropped her stealth and clapped her hands once she had something of a bearing while being weightless. Her stomach flopped a little. Going weightless so soon after using her translocator was not something she should do again. Good to know....not that Siebren needed to know that. She swallowed and smiled.
"You got me. Good job."
no subject
"Ha! And with that, we're even," Siebren declares, wagging a finger. "I'm growing wise to your tricks."
After a moment, he recalls that zero-g isn't comfortable for ... well, anyone really. His hand makes a slow, deliberate motion to ease his fellow operative back to the ground while the other items clatter down carelessly around her.
"You'll have to be a bit more clever if you want to break this tie."
