"So much blood."
Need options?
1. Another day that ends in Y. When mass murder needs to happen you're the weapon for the job. Employed? Owned by a secret organization? Untamed embodiment of extreme violence? Either way someone's going to try to stop you eventually.
2. How did I get here? The last thing you remember everything was fine and hunky dory– Wait, is this b-blood?! Hopefully there's someone who can help you and not hurt you.
3. Justified. This is war and wars are won with weapons, not words! Cut through the masses knowing what you are doing is right. Does that mean the enemy of your enemy is a friend, or is everyone not part of the solution a problem?
4. Humor/Crack option. This really is your blood. Do you have intense nosebleeds every time someone even moderately attractive catches your eye? Are you Deadpool and constantly leaving heaps of blood everywhere? WHO IS GOING TO CLEAN THIS MESS UP?
5. Smut. Bloodplay, nuff said.
6. Gruesome to some, beautiful to you. Vampires, crazed artists, and evil scientists can eat their heart out. Or someone else's
7. Wilcard! Have something different in mind when you clicked? Go with it! Or re-roll/mix and match.

He nods at Hiei though, an indication he is ready to try.

With Kurama's permission obtained, Hiei moves to gather him up again, gingerly, making sure that he isn't at an odd angle or, perhaps, risking making things move more quickly. Thankfully the trip to the bathroom isn't very far, and soon Hiei is, carefully, navigating them inside. Once there, though, Hiei has a moment of clear hesitation, looking between his options.
"Should I sit you down and get in to the shower myself? .. That may be the fastest way to make steam."
Considering Hiei could boil water off of himself for as long as needed? It seems the smartest way to handle this as well. "Unless you had other ideas."
no subject
Once into the bathroom, he nods to Hiei, not having actually thought of the solution presented. He'd just thought to run a bath, let Hiei heat it and go from there.
"That would work better than my thoughts. But only if you are comfortable doing so."
no subject
Hiei shrugs his shoulders at the subject of his comfort. Yes, he will more than likely have to strip down in order to not be standing there in soaking clothes, but he's hardly bothered by that kind of thing. Of all things, the little fire demon barely worries about things like his own nudity, these days.
.. Besides, he's worked hard for it, so why not show it off every once in a while?
At any rate, Hiei seats Kurama first, then closes the door. A bit of knob fumbling later and there's a shower head running, and Hiei is beginning the process of getting his belts open to strip down. The closer the water was to his skin, the better, so far as he could tell. And the faster he could make steam.
"Let me know if it gets too hot in here for you." Hiei notes as his final belt comes open, and his shirt is hoisted quickly over his head. Already he's beginning to heat his skin a little more, a pre-heat so that they can get right to business once he hits the water. "Or if things start to deteriorate more."
no subject
Now seated, watching Hiei work on preparing to heat the bathroom, Kurama leans his head back a bit. This was becoming a troublesome evening, and most likely neither he nor Hiei would get revenge; there wasn't exactly much left of the demons they had been fightimg earlier.
"I'll let you know, don't worry."
no subject
"Mn." Hiei acknowledges the Youko with a grunt, fairly serious about what he was about to embark on for the moment. It wouldn't be his first time heating a place, though definitely the first time heating a bathroom specifically for steam to try and sweat out a poison. But there was a first time for everything, wasn't there?
With their communication established, though, Hiei is fast to work. He shucks his pants, belts still in their loops, and makes his way to the shower head. Water touches his skin and instantly turns in to steam, rapidly beginning to fill the room with wafts of steam and humidity.
"It shouldn't take long."
no subject
In fact, Kurama can feel the change in temperature almost as soon as the water begins to steam off Hiei's body, and he'll give it time before he tries to move anything, sighing a bit when he finds some motion in his hand.
"I think it's working..."
no subject
"Already?" Hiei inquires with a bit of a surprised arch of his brow, casually letting water run down his back and steam up from there. Not much of it reaches the floor, at this point, though Hiei is hardly paying attention to that fact for the moment. He's much more interested in how the hell this is having such a rapid effect, considering the rarity of the poison itself.
"For such a rare poison... I would've expected the antidote to be more than heat." But then his shoulders shrug.
"All the better for you, though."
no subject
"Not so much a surprise, when you think about it. By the time I even knew something was wrong, my legs were useless. Within fifteen of that, my hips, then other limbs. Anyone not a fire demon, without one to help and without knowledge of the poison would be dead long before they found a solution."
no subject
"Should we check me? Just for curiosity's sake?" Who knew, after all. If someone was foolish enough to try Kurama, probably thinking that he would go home alone and would not have anyone else around to help, who knows what they would do related to him. Though... he takes another moment to think about it and then mutters :
"Nevermind. It will have healed on me." Without the poison being effective, Hiei's body would have healed the injury quickly. Especially in a wound the size of Kurama's. "So you're saying they thought you went home alone and would have just rolled over and let it happen."
Hiei pauses again, a rumble rolling through his chest.
"Makes me wish we would have known earlier."
no subject
As to Kurama and alone?
"They were probably betting you'd go back to Mukuro, and even if I called anyone else, it would be too late and resources would be slim..."
no subject
Hiei gets a bit of a look on his face as Kurama says that there was likely the anticipation he would be going back to Mukuro instead of Kurama. For all of his obvious .. affection is perhaps not the right word, but predilection toward not being totally murderous toward the former demon king, Hiei doesn't take kindly to the implication that he and Mukuro share the type of affection that and Kurama do.
"mn... Or that one of the fools would be coming back with you. Kuwabara and Yusuke would be running about like they were headless in the same situation."

no subject
Neither did Hiei, when it came right down to it, but the fire demon thinks that goes without saying. He hums a little agreement, easy enough to do when they both understand what he means, still pumping out heat and steam. Only some water even makes it to the floor, at this point, with Hiei's eyes focused on Kurama as the other demon falls in to something more like sleepy.
"Don't fall asleep until we can be sure of what's happening." He warns, voice low and still concentrating, trying to keep his eye on the prize as much as Kurama's.
"If the tide turns I don't want you to be asleep when it happens."
no subject
"How long have you been heating the room?"
no subject
"Not that long..." Hiei pauses to think, trying to quantify the minutes as closely as he can estimate, though it doesn't take him long to throw out a figure. "Six or seven minutes at the most."
Hiei pauses, then, brows furrowing a little as he watches the fox and how long it takes him to respond after he's spoke, debating reaching out to find a way to pinch or otherwise irritate him awake. "Should I stop and focus on keeping you from sleeping?"
no subject
Most likely, it was some mixture of the two affecting him. The frailty of the human body when exposed to stressors, and heat, making him feel weak. He didn't want to think that there was some other trick in this poison he hadn't accounted for.
As much for his own sake as Hiei's.
no subject
Hiei begins to lower the heat of his body, reaching over to turn the running water off, as well. Better to let the cool down happen slowly, he thinks, lest they shock Kurama's body a little too much and cause more problems than intended. Still... he has a theory that may help.. it's just a matter of posing the question to Kurama. With his skin dry, Hiei at least puts his pants back on, thinking over the idea he's thought of while he buckles the belts.
"If you think it wouldn't be too much..." Hiei pauses, clearly a bit.. shy about posing this question or possibility, but he's bound and determined to keep Kurama sweating, it would seem.
"There is always the possibility of putting us both under a blanket and me keeping up the heat."
no subject
The suggestion he considers. Hiei would be fully capable of keeping things hot enough for sweating to occur without causing any burns, which was a large concern, and without setting the blanket on fire. It would also be more comfortable than sitting in the bathroom, except...
"You'd have to keep me awake even more in a blanket, laying down. I still feel lethargic."
no subject
"Perhaps we ought to get you a coffee, then." Though he doubts caffeine would help the entire situation if it comes down to it. And at some point, Kurama would need to rest. It wouldn't due to have his body stressed and then lacking rest on top of it all, so far as Hiei can tell. Still, he isn't the type to just babble to keep others awake, so this is quite the conundrum.
Hiei pauses, looking this way and that, obviously thinking.
"What do you think is best?"
no subject
Kurama sighs. Actually, he isn't sure. Usually he could use one of his plants to try and stay awake, something stronger than caffeine, but he isn't sure the effect it would have on what they are burning out of his system.
He's again wishing the demon wasn't dead, for many reasons. The questions he could ask, the torture he could inflict, doubled if he let Hiei help...
No, those thoughts went the wrong way, and he half wondered if a tinge of silver hair was about to show, or a flash of yellow eyes. So he spoke again, obviously not able to think of another option.
"I suppose, I'll just have to talk and you nudge me if I doze."
no subject
"If Urameshi and Kuwabara show up, you will not sleep." But it would also mean either playing a careful game of keep away about why they were there, or why they didn't want Kurama to sleep. He narrowly resists reaching out to push Kurama's damp bangs out of his face, hands tucking in to his pockets in an effort to keep them to himself.
It's hell trying to cover the fact that you're fretting, isn't it?
"What will you lecture me about? Plants? Your math homework?" So he can, you know. Prepare himself for what he's about to endure. As a demon who generally prefers the quiet.... Well. This is going to be an undertaking, but one he's willing to endure for Kurama's sake.
no subject
"For now, let's head out to the room and start heating again. I'll talk to you concerning your one of your other least favorite things if you want; the latest in what human teenagers and young adults are into."
no subject
"That sounds boring as hell." Hiei gruffs it, but he's still reaching to get his arms underneath Kurama to take him into the bedroom again. It's not nearly as fun as when they're going on to something fun, but here he is, carrying Kurama in despite that. Typical of Hiei, really.
Gruffing and then doing the kind thing anyway.
Soon enough Kurama is carried back into the bedroom, though Hiei pauses, for a moment, to consider options.
"Bed? Or would another seat help you stay awake?"
no subject
Not that he fully minds right now. He's too tired to do so, and at the same time, somehow he enjoys it just a fraction. How often does one get personally cared for from the little demon?
He doesn't have a great deal of time to think about it though, quickly thinking through the options for what they should do, responding after a moment.
"The bed. It will be a lot more comfortable, and easier on both of us."
