Cassian sighed hotly against Ben's lips, shivering gently at the feel of his fingers carding through his hair - a particularly sensitive area of his body that always sent a chill racing up and down the length of his spine.]
Ben ...
no subject
He moved from those gorgeous lips down his neck once again, breathing softly against the skin. He slowly then pulled back after nipping so slightly at his pulse.]
Cassian... I... Oh...
no subject
And he would have said as such, but he could barely even think as Ben kissed him and then turned his attention to his throat, where Cassian was sure he could feel the erratic beating of his heart.
Christ, if it always felt like this ... ]
Yeah, I know. I feel it, too.
no subject
[Ben gave another shaky breath and kisses Cassian. The intense connection was so much. It threatened to overwhelm him. And he was finding that he wanted to be swept away.
To get lost in Cassian. In them. He groaned, trying to keep himself together.]
no subject
His heart stuttered to hear the admission tumble from Ben's lips. This time, it was Cassian that reached out to place a palm against the other man's cheek and jaw, holding him steady as they kissed again and again and again.]
Never ... loved anyone before? Or - ... ?
no subject
[His voice was quiet at that admission. He wasn't ashamed that he was still a virgin. He had been a tall, gangly, awkward looking teenager and had only filled out in college.
And he had been too busy studying during college.
But now? Now he wanted to... but he wanted them both to be comfortable. To be at ease.
He pulled back, flushing softly. He averted his eyes from Cassian's.]

Ben's inexperience wasn't a dealbreaker in the slightest. But it only deepened Cassian's desire to take things slow, to avoid jumping into anything far too quickly that Ben could potentially end up regretting later.
Besides, he had his own fair share of inexperience, too. Especially when it came to being intimate with another man. Which … was probably something that he should admit to, as well, but right now …
He wanted to concentrate on Ben, first.
Cassian smiled gently, dropping his hand and searching out Ben's to hold, to squeeze reassuringly as a way of letting Ben know that he was still right there with him, that there was nothing to be embarrassed out.]
That just means that we take it slow until you're ready.
no subject
He squeezed the hand and took a breath.]
That's fine with me. I want to be happy with you.
no subject
I feel like an ass, you know? [He asked, huffing out a breath.] You probably came to the restaurant to eat, and instead you left with me.
no subject
And it would all take him, but that was okay.]
I can order room service. Are you hungry?
no subject
The thought of being able to call Ben family cause his heart to clench almost painfully. His family. He never knew how much he needed it until it was right in front of him.]
I'm not hungry, but you should get something if you are. I'm not going anywhere, Ben, I promise.
no subject
Ben nodded and slipped off the sofa. He made his way over to the desk and picked up the menu, he quickly read through it before settling on panuchos de cochinita. He called and ordered before crossing over to the sofa.
He settled back against Cassian.]
Because of the words on my side, I've been studying Spanish for almost my entire academic career.
no subject
He felt ... so much and so quickly and it was a lot to come to terms with.
But it felt good to be spending time with Ben, and Cassian welcomed him back to the sofa with open arms, chuckling softly as he spoke about the tattoo and his proficiency with the language.]
You must have been so disappointed to learn what it said, yeah?
no subject
[Ben had his head on Cassian's chest and was listening to the beating of his heart. He found that it was comfortable. He took a breath and then let it out, timing his breathing to Cassian's heartbeat. He knew he could fall asleep like this.]
no subject
He hardly even gave it a thought as he gently carded his fingers through Ben's hair, careful as he used his fingernails to scratch his scalp.
This felt so comfortable, so natural and so right. Cassian didn't want to have to get up for the foreseeable future.]
You're so sweet - [Cassian replied softly, switching to his native Spanish.] You deserve all the prettiest words I have.
no subject
He was finding it was easy with Cassian. That he didn't feel the usual nervousness. That all he wanted to do was fall into it all.]
The prettiest words you have said to me are our first words to one another. And my name.
no subject
For as much as he had never truly believed that the whole soulmate thing was for him, but ... he was coming around. Ben was helping him see that it could feel comfortable and right.]
I want to believe that we have a whole lifetime to discover more.
no subject
He pulled back and nodded.]
I do too Cassian.
[Ben pulled back, reluctantly, when there was a knock on the hotel door. He got up and went to retrieve the food. He tipped well, and then shut the door bringing the meal back over to the couch. He set it on the table.]
no subject
It was understandable, though. He was sure neither of them wanted the bellhop to stand outside their door any longer than was strictly necessary. Besides that, the sooner the food was brought in, the sooner they could be alone again ...
And for the moment, that was all he really wanted.
To be close. To continue getting to know each other. To enjoy each other.
He huffed out a chuckle, sitting up straighter once Ben brought his order back, shrugging one shoulder slightly.]
My mother is going to love feeding you.
no subject
Why do you say that?
[He carefully began to give himself small portions of the meal onto a plate and began to eat. He was hungry. But he was with Cassian now. They could be together and learn more about one another.]
no subject
She's going to take one look at you and declare that you're too skinny - which, by the way, you're not, you look more than fine - and then she will ply you with as much food as you can possibly stand.
Or, she'll be excited to have a new mouth to feed just because we've all tried her recipes countless times before. She'll probably ask for your input, she's always looking to improve the restaurant however she can.
[Not that Cassian was going to push Ben to meet his family before he was ready. He was more than content with the idea of spending more time just getting to know each other better.
Just being close like this.
Kissing.
Wherever the night led them, Cassian already knew that he'd be happy spending it with Ben.]
