Games and rides are fine because that's what Himuro wants - actually, coming here at all is all on Himuro. Not that Atsushi is complaining. He's won a few prizes, more by dumb luck than on the part of actual effort, but his arms are mostly full of sweets. By the time he makes it over to the basketball team's fundraiser, he hasn't even made a dent in them. There's watame, taiyaki, and even those weird sweets that aren't as common in Japan. Fried Oreos? Who would have thought of such a thing?

Steve tried to look like he belonged at the fairgrounds tonight. He dressed casually, more... middle-class, all dark browns and muted grays. The perfectly gelled hair and polished shoes gave him easily away. As for mingling, well, he did more people-watching (or, rather, seeking out a possible companion for the evening) than engaging with anyone. Thumbs hooked in his pockets, watching a bare-chested surfer in the distance, he about bumped into the booth without noticing. He turned quickly, hand over his heart, at first feigning surprise, an apology ready on his lips, when he saw who was seated behind the tacky display.

"Well, my, my. Fishing for compliments, soldier?" The Reverend asked with a cheerful, Southern accent to his words. "Or, did you owe someone some money?"
