Steve tried to look like he belonged at the fairgrounds tonight. He dressed casually, more... middle-class, all dark browns and muted grays. The perfectly gelled hair and polished shoes gave him easily away. As for mingling, well, he did more people-watching (or, rather, seeking out a possible companion for the evening) than engaging with anyone. Thumbs hooked in his pockets, watching a bare-chested surfer in the distance, he about bumped into the booth without noticing. He turned quickly, hand over his heart, at first feigning surprise, an apology ready on his lips, when he saw who was seated behind the tacky display.

"Well, my, my. Fishing for compliments, soldier?" The Reverend asked with a cheerful, Southern accent to his words. "Or, did you owe someone some money?"

[Speaking of which, here comes Honey Lemon bouncing in, checking how her ~~victim~~ best friend is doing.]

Heeeey~ Any customers yet?

[Steve wasn't sure how this helped promote the Mainstreaming movement, but any PR was good PR. Or so he told himself.]
