[Putting together a time travel machine is a hell of a lot of work. Good thing they’re making a time machine, then, and don’t have to rush, right? Much as Rocket wants to get his family back ASAP, he knows better than to cut corners and risk blowing their one shot at making it happen.

It’s been a few days of construction, tweaking the plans as they go, which is a hell of a lot easier once Tony shows Rocket how to manipulate the holoimager. But between the two of them, they’re making decent progress, with Rocket squeezing into the tighter spaces that the human can’t fit in.

He’s got his head buried in one such tricky spot when he hears the loud bang and a cry of pain, and wriggles his way out.]

[ it's all fun and games when you're hanging out with your friends at leblanc. but someone just had to rile joker up (futaba), someone had to have a pair of too-long legs for him to trip over when he dashed out of the booth (yusuke), and someone had to be the one to carry him upstairs, unanimously voted as the strong-arm of the bunch. as ryuji pants at the top of the stairs, helping him over to the couch, he thinks this was probably rigged but there's no turning back now. ]

Here, lemme... [ he needs to think fast! there's only one pillow on the bed, and he swears these chairs are getting closer to falling apart every day, but it's all going to have to do in a pinch. ] Just stay put, yeah? I got this!
