[Alayne avoids Arya's eyes like the plague.] I am not a wolf anymore. And I do not wish to kill. Do you? [She has a feeling it's long past that for Arya.]

[ In contrast she doesn't look away from Alayne. She's aware that she's changed but she's not going to hide it. ]

I've already killed. I killed a stable boy escaping from the castle because he was going to give me up to the Lannisters. A man at Harrenhal gave me three deaths to name and I used it to kill 10. I've killed a guard to escape.

[ They were all bad men, except for the guard, who had simply been in the wrong place. ]

I killed others and I'll do it again. I'm going to kill Queen Cersei, and Ser Illyn and everyone who needs to pay.

[Alayne find that she isn't shocked by this news but that doesn't make it any less horrible. They've both had to do things to survive and Arya went the opposite route. Alayne sounded frightened at Arya mentioning killing the queen though.]

Arya, do not talk like that. If people hear you saying you are to kill the Queen you will be killed yourself.

[Alayne is trying so hard to ignore the rest. She doesn't want to believe her sister has killed anyone.]

[Alayne flinches at the thought of Arya shoving a sword through the Queen's throat and looks around as if someone may be listening.]

Arya, please. Do not speak such words. Where did you even learn that? [Alayne lowers her voice to a whisper.] I know the Queen is awful but you will be killed before you even get near her so please do not try.

[ She glances at Alayne again, looking for some sign of her sister. ]

Syrio Forel taught me to dance, and the Lannisters killed him. Yoren promised to take me North and the Gold Cloaks killed him. The Hound tried to get me back with Mother and- [ She chokes for a moment, hating that weakness. When she speaks again, her voice is calmer. She's supposed to be No One and she hides behind it, separating herself. Distance dulls the pain some. ]

The Lannisters keep taking away everything important to Arya. [ Three brothers, lost because of the War of Kings. A Mother and a Father to treachery. Jon to the Wall. ] Does she still have a sister?

[Alayne's ears perk up at the mention of The Hound and her mother. She remembers the night he told her to go with him. Perhaps if she did, she would've met up with Arya and prevented all this.] The Hound tried to help you get back to mother? What happened?

[She knows what they've done. She hates the Lannisters just as much but she's frightened. She tries to say no, you don't have a sister anymore, but she can't bring herself to that point. Not when she's speaking right to her.] And of course you still have a sister.

The Red Wedding. He was going to ransom m- Arya back to Robb. [ It was easier to tell it like a story that happened to someone else. Stories didn't hurt when they happened to someone else. Her tone shifts, taking on more Braavosi tones. More Cat and less Arya. ] Even though they would've wanted Sansa more.

Arya tried to run inside, but the Hound knocked her out. If they had arrived earlier, maybe it would've been different.
