RULES
☥ Pick a vampire clan or a life state and state it in the post, along with other valuable RP information. Maybe make a short AU backstory!

CLANS/LIFE STATES
☥ BRUJAH: once philosopher-kings of an ancient civilization, but are now rebels and rogues with a fearsome inclination toward frenzy.
☥ GANGREL: bestial and untamed, often coming to resemble the animals over which they demonstrate mastery.
☥ MALKAVIAN: a clan fractured by madness, each member irrevocably suffering under the yoke of insanity.
☥ NOSFERATU: hideously disfigured by turning into a Vampire, so they keep to the shadows and traffic of the sewers in the secrets they collect.
☥ TOREADOR: Vampires that enjoy every sensual pleasure the world has to offer, idolizing physical beauty and the adoration of their thralls.

☥ GHOUL: a minion created when a vampire gives a bit of vampiric blood to a mortal without draining them of blood first (which would create another vampire instead).
☥ THIN-BLOODS: A vampire that is so far along in the generations that their powers are weakened and are more human-like than vampire. However, there are certain advantages to being more human than vampire.
☥ BLOOD DOLL: a mortal who freely lets vampires drink from them. Frequently found as members of subcultures such as the Goths, blood dolls seek a perverse thrill from the vampire's Kiss, but their tendency to actively seek out vampires to give it to them means that they unwittingly walk a very thin and dangerous line with their lives. Not so much a Ghoul, more like a vampire!groupie.
☥ TOUCHSTONE: A normal human connected to a Vampire by their previous mortal life. Kept in the Vampire's circle for sentiment as well as grounding, as it's claimed that it keeps the Beast in check.
☥ WILDCARD HUMANS: Again there are associates of Vampires, (weapon sellers, club owners etc) Hunters, government agents that know about vampires, and well... prey. This game truly has it all, people.

PROMPTS
☥ THE EMBRACE: is the act of transforming a mortal into a vampire. A vampire drains and replaces a victim's blood with a bit of their own to pass the curse of vampirism to a mortal. This prompt could also cover the... fairly unique relationship between sire and childe.
☥ KINDRED POLITICS: Are you allied with The Camerilla? How about the Anarchs? The Sabbat? Are you smack dab in the middle of a Jyhad between two or more old as hell vampires? This is a catch-all prompt for all your Vamp politicking and plotting.
☥ KINDRED AND KINE: This prompt covers the various forms of relationships between Vampires and Humans in this universe? Prey, Ghouls, Partners in business/crime, Vampire Hunting, Touchstones, and all sorts of stuff can blossom.
☥ WILDCARD: VTM is a complex as hell tabletop game, and I can't possibly list all the stuff one can do in this universe. (This game has all matter of Fantasy races in it, so frankly, Vampires are just scratching the surface here.) The sky is the limit and you can nearly do whatever. (Just don't look at it in the day if you're a Vampire, that will be a final death for you.) There are quite a few things Marco misses about human life. Magic is one of those things. Sure, his bloodline tends to dabble with blood magic, but it's not the same thing, is it? It's not natural and has absolutely nothing to do with real magic.

Perhaps it is slightly masochistic of him to seek company of those who still possess the gift. He would insist that it has something to do with nostalgia instead.

John Constantine isn't someone you call when you want to have a pleasant glass of drink but Marco still likes him for it. This isn't the first night Marco takes his whiskey to John's table and sits down. The pub has been there for almost a century, Marco purchased it from its last owner in the early 90's and since then there's only been skilled jazz being played each night and a little bit of magical contraband exchanging hands under the counter.

He wears pinstripes in old fashioned style and drinks his whiskey with bitters. And he's quite fond of the magic users that frequent his pub.

"John Constantine. How long has it been? You're growing older."

If he's not drinking Guinness, it ought to be expensive booze he didn't pay for, thank you. John doesn't adore posh places like this, but they're good for getting news, maybe the odd rumor, picking up work and putting down a bit of well-earned reputation. At the moment, the story of how John taught the London Tower ravens how to swear in order to avert dark magic is making its rounds.

Frequently, it pays to be a bastard.

Marco looks younger than John, and that's part of the push and pull they have, isn't it? Marco talks about John getting older. John talks like he's a toddler. "And Marco, lad, you look almost old enough to drink. Maybe they'll let you drive the hearse next."

He takes a swig, and pulls out a cigarette before pausing- "How long it's been depends on if I can light this inside."

It is quite likely John's tab will never be paid off and Marco is completely fine with that. It's not just because the whimsical vampire likes him, but also because having John over every now and then is good for business. Who wouldn't want to hear from the man himself about those swearing ravens?

Fame and reputation are things that Marco doesn't really care about, but he acknowledges their usefulness. He glances at the bar and catches the eye of one of his waiters. With a small nudge of his chin the young man pours another one of the John's chosen beers (likely imported) into a glass and starts walking towards their table with the drink balanced on a tray.

"Oh, age has softened your brain, Johnny," he gives a small chuckle and reaches over the table to snap his fingers, producing an ashtray onto the table. Those few magic tricks he still can produce almost annoy him now. No wonder he makes sure to use them for the most ridiculous things, just to piss off his sire if nothing else. "Surely, you're old enough to remember when smoking inside wasn't restricted."

"I remember it like an old love. But this must be the only pub that does."

He happily lights his cigarette, though, and seems happier for it. He sips his drink with relish. "So tell me, Mar, how's the blood these days? Keeping your iron levels up?"

The smell of cigarettes is slightly nostalgic these days when it's not plastered on every surface of every house hold and public place anymore. The world definitely is a different place.

"No, let's not talk about food," Marco says and makes a disgusted face at John. "I sure am not interested in whether you've even your vegetables or not." There's a small, teasing smile that curves the blond's mouth.

"Unless..." he says with a darker, warmer tone that might even tip just a little bit towards seductive. "Unless you're offering."

John grins back, teeth and eyes and hard, sharp charm. "You in the mood for some carcinogens, mate?" He blows a puff of smoke in Marco's direction. "Just don't see the appeal."

But his head lolls back, bearing his neck casually.

Oh, there you go John, casually offering a hit to a junkie. Maybe its his first one, but still as addicting. Drinking from a mage, his sire was very keen on making sure Marco knows this is not a good idea.

Has he done it before? Yes. Of course he has. And it is a thrill every time. One that should be enjoyed sparingly.

He's never bitten John before, though, and actually is quite surprised by the subtle offer. Definitely not unpleasantly, though. There is a different look in Marco's blue eyes as he studies John, keen, still, penetrating. Something interesting jolting him from his slumber of a life to pay attention.

"You should be sure to know what you're offering, John Constantine," he says quietly, giving him a chance to reconsider.

"I'd know," John says, flirting for the fuck of it. What's life off a razor's edge? Something John has too much stupid pride to manage without. "If I knew what was in it for me, like."

Amused, Marco leans back against the cushions of the booth they're sitting in, lifting one slender knee on top of the other.

"You've never been bitten, have you?" he asks with a quirk at the corners of his mouth. "As gruesome as the feeding can be, we do not take without some payback."

He leans back his head and lets a small smile curve over his lips. "I've been told it feels exquisite."

Of course, the Toreador lust for human beauty does have a darker side.
2. There are Vampires in Aramat's canon. So why not a crossover? A mortal Lady that does hold a fair amount of power in her native Savannah, Georgia that knows and works with Vampires in her area. Does the partnership work well? Does it all go to shit? You decide.

1. Lasombra Antitribu. Like all Lasombra he was put through hell just for the 'honor' of being Embraced. He risked a Final Death to escape working for the Sabbat to follow his own path and straight-up wants nothing to do with Vampire Politics. (However, he could be valuable to whatever faction seeks him out.)
2. A recently embraced Thin-Blood. He has no memory of the person that sired him or even any idea about his own powers. Will he grow in his powers, join an organization, commit diablerie and become a full vampire, will he use his advantages to hurt his own kind or will he die? Who knows?
3. Human Touchstone and a P.I. that knows a vampire personally and professionally. He wants to help this person dearly but is always kept at a distance.
4. Since I wanna be awful, there is always the Ghoul option. He hates it but it is what it is. >_>
5. A Nosferatu that fully enjoys being ugly. Delighting in disgusting Kindred and scaring humans on the street. Due to his former life and skills as a mortal, he is freakishly good at the whole unseen spy for the Camarilla thing.
