after all, if he had to perish, he would rather not be in a dark cave, away from an active warzone as his former padawan frets over him as they struggle to staunch the wound. at least it's not within his top ten ideas for a death. not that he'd mention it to anakin, who seems to be very distressed. ]

Anakin would very much like to argue that he's not fretting, he's fussing at best. Really, it's hard not to while he's got a hand pressed securely over a wound that won't stop bleeding and Obi-Wan isn't taking seriously. He levels a very unimpressed look at him. ]
