On her neverending quest to find her brother, Desdemona ended up fighting another group of Brook's goons in some New York city alley, and didn't come out as unharmed as she'd like. A friendly stranger found her there and took her to his place, and she'd make sure to thank him when everything stopped hurting so damn much.

"I hope I'm not messing up your evening.. Those jerks are everywhere lately."

A wince escaped her when Vincent began cleaning one of her wounds. So gentle yet skilled.

"No, no. Not at all. Don't worry about it."

He smiled gently as he cleaned her wounds with peroxide and a cloth, doing his best to avoid causing her anymore pain. Vincent didn't know all the details of what was going on, but he also didn't feel like it was right to press for them.

"I still think you should consider going to the emergency room though. Some of these wounds are pretty deep."

"I appreciate the help," Desdemona finally said. "I'm Desdemona, by the way. Almost forgot my manners there."

He was right. She should go get the wounds checked, but not yet. She liked the unexpected company of the handsome stranger.
